I agree wholeheartedly, I read in this debate about maybe motorists in cars would drive and the hard shoulder of motorways because it would make them feel safer, imagine if we all did that, there is difference here in my opinion. Many cyclists are good law abiding people but many like the majority in these pictures are not. I watched a guy only this morning riding along the road and then decided to go up onto the pavement to avoid the traffic lights and jump the queue, they cant have it both ways.

I also spoke with someone who knows her well at work and they said, she used to be normal but now she is like this through years of alcohol and loads of drug abuse all self-inflicted. She has lost close friends and family who have all tried to help her over the years, they said she has always been an attention seeker and the drugs have just made it worse and made her paranoid. Her family just think she is a pain in the arse and want nothing really to do with her. I was informed that she was not evicted for no reason. Personally, I think you have to be pretty mental to want to stick a needle in your arm in the first instance.

I never understood why IOC and the Independents never joined forces. The conservatives are too strong in Hereford if the truth is known.

Unfortunately I am afraid this is true, a friend of mine who started working there earlier this year has just been laid off, not sure even if he is going to get paid yet.

I understand that they have been many many problems at the Oval, the new flats on Beattie Ave have many issues already, they cannot seem to work out how to achieve level gardens either, they are all over the place, is it that difficult?

I agree, a lot of assumptions being made here yet when someone assumes the opposite of her being ill or suffering from any kind of mental illness by saying she is a pain you get slated for those comments, glad she has been moved on personally, I don't think she has done herself any favours.

They cannot inspect them every month! I see no reason why they cannot have annual inspections though

I am glad that you are not the only person to have noticed these changes, I agree, how long before RESIDENTS start to complain and business's end up suffering more hardships or have planning refused because of residents complaints?

It is a good job all the europhobes were not around when we needed Polish pilots during the war! They fought with us and we should embrace this twinning idea with Jaworzno in Poland. Good to see plenty of activities with our other twins over the years.

Wow…..the Germans really are screwed. Can’t even have centuries old traditional culinary delights served for fear of offending some 7th century/third worlder invaders….in schools no less…what happened to all that assimilation the refugees were supposed to do ? LOL…. Hard to feel sorry at all for such weak people. Instead of asking why the muzzie fake refugees aren’t fighting for THEIR homeland……why isn’t Germany and Europe fighting for THEIR homeland cultural traditions???

But they can still refuse to allow people into their country, they may get fined but they can refuse all the same and I do not blame them.

I think Colin was referring to Poland refusing being dictated to with regard to what their refugee quota should be as laid out by Brussels or Angela Merkel, it is down to Poland to decide who can and cannot enter their country and I support that very much.

I have just read through the comments below this article and I have to agree with the majority. Poland is being very smart about all of this and are entitled to decide what is best for it's own country, Britain and the other European countries should take note and not be bullied by Brussels or Angela Merkel

I bet if the same request was made by her or one of the other councillors it would of just been a formality, why would they not agree other than to just be awkward?

Copied from the HC website: Herefordshire Council has agreed to extend the time frame for the Hereford Library Users Group to formulate their proposals for the refurbishment of the library and museum building. The group has been campaigning for many years for a better library facility for Hereford and proposals include transforming the building into a centre for recreational, public and cultural services. In December, the council’s Cabinet committed to work with the users group as they come up with future options for the library building, which also houses the Museum and Art Gallery and the Woolhope Club. Since then the users group has been engaged in extensive consultation to find out if a major redevelopment is possible and feasible. This included a public meeting where overwhelming support was expressed for exploring a major improvement scheme to turn the building into a cultural centre for Hereford. John Faulkner of the Hereford Library Users Group, said: A report on the initial options for the future operation of the museum service, based on a recent independent service review, will be discussed by Cabinet this month. The report is available on the Cabinet agenda webpage. Work to remove the asbestos is under way by Hereford Asbestos Services and it’s anticipated to be completed later this month.

I watched this today, this lot should be on the news instead they prefer to show some poor lost child to get the sympathy votes. This is an interesting but true picture:
