Here's a look at how a few different airlines deal with the "customer of size:" Midwest: Like Southwest, passengers are encouraged to know their needs in advance. If staff determine that two seats are required, the seat will be sold at the lowest possible fare, with a refund available if there is one or more open seats on the flight. Air France: Passengers with "high body mass" may receive a 25 percent discount on an extra seat, knowing that if they choose to not buy the seat, they may risk not being able to fly. JetBlue: You are required to buy a second seat, and there are no refunds. Delta: The airline "works to accommodate" passengers with special needs. Upon request and availability, it will try to make sure the next seat is unoccupied. However, if the plane is full, you will most likely be asked to leave the flight and buy a second seat on the next available flight. (You can actually count on this being a fairly typical practice on most airlines.) I just read these few replies people have posted to this topic and having to purchase an extra seats:
-
If a team of people are heavier than the agreed limit then they should pay extra, it does not matter that they are the local rugby team, whats that got to do with it? If I was grossly overweight and took up two seats then yes definitely! I would pay for the extra seats, why not? Some airlines are already charging just that. I am not sure what the limit would be but they would take an average I assume.

Relaxation Of Hot Food License In Hereford...

I believe I used the word harass not gullible.

Well in fairness most teams charter their own flights but if your weight is in proportion to your height and is within a fair limit then there would be no issue. I would actually expect a 7ft guy to be a lot heavier than a 5'8 guy. I am confused with your argument about about only being allowed to have the same weight luggage as anyone else? I can take more weight than other people as long as I am happy to pay for the extra weight? What is your point? On your final point of course the airline has factored in extra fuel for larger people but who is ultimately paying for that extra fuel for those larger folk? You have just contradicted yourself and in turn highlighted the point Katie Hopkins is making

Perfect location for them to harass students

An airline is a business and yes agreed some flights are not always full. Based upon tickets sales If the plane is only half full then they will load less fuel, if the plane is full they add more fuel to compensate for the extra weight its simple mathematics, so your argument is flawed and Katie Hopkins may just have a valid point here.

I just came past and these cones are still there and there is no roadworks, obviously the car lot have put them there, thats not right.

Okay okay, can we get back to the topic in hand rather than play bat and ball with Glenda and Cllr Edwards, they clearly do not get on. So can someone please clarify because I am a little confused, the house was left in a will to a young lady who lived there for a while then just abandoned it? Why would you not sell it and have at least £100k? Even in its current state it would fetch £80k +. Can the council not force action against the owner or force a sale?

I think what Roger is suggesting is that you are no longer an elected councillor, therefore you are an unofficial troubleshooter, which is what smartieno1 is, he is not elected yet thinks he can go around as if he is and attempts to act on someone else's behalf, puts demands on people and expects answers and then gets frustrated when he is not taken seriously, mind you I have to ay imo he has always gone about things differently to maybe how I would.

There were large tall flats there before and the light coming from these made hardly any difference Glenda, so I fail to see how the new houses (which will be lower to the ground) will give off more light? On the contrary, I think they will give off a lot less light onto the GWW. What is needed is ADDITIONAL LIGHTING along the whole of the GWW from one end to the other with CCTV and additional Police patrols 24/7. Getting back to the topic, I see that the Police have no motive or suspect yet for this murder which is quite worrying.
-
This tram idea would make people feel more safe along this GWW, the overgrown bushes and tree's do not help either, I think Colin has mentioned that these need cutting back in one of the topics previously and I completely agree, it would be easy for an attacker to hide in the shadows.

This is tragic news.
-
Old joke but still makes me smile.
-
Is it me? but these new houses (grey ones) on the bend opposite where St Francis church used to be are starting to look like a ghetto before they have even been completed. I did not realise they were going to be so close to the roadside and in one complete vile looking grey block. This is not how these photographs visualise them to be.

Wildwood Kitchen Opens in Hereford
M. Preece replied to Colin James's topic in Edgar Street Grid and Courtyard Theatre
Because it is local and local people are employed. I never agreed with the takeover at Hereford United but I still supported our team. Enjoy your Star Wars though when its at the Cinema at the Old Market, oh no because you never agreed with it being built did you. -

Good to see your supporting the Old Market. This town has been waiting for something new and different, lack of support will be its demise, just my thoughts for the day. -
So is this a kind of protest from the missing posters for something?
-
So is the rent reduced until the end of July?
-
Good news, hope it stays that way.
-
Yep thats about it, I would vote to stay in too.

I just looked up the word bullying on this urban dictionary = The worst way to make someone feel awful about themselves. Putting others down so you feel better about yourself Let me remind myself what WirralPC wrote: I won't miss 'casting pearls' before ****-caked ignorant tory swine either. sorry bobby47 but he needs to practice a little more about what he preaches about others.
-
Hello dippyhippy, I agree with Alex statement above, I am in full agreement over the bullying of disabled people 100% thread but I do not agree with his constant moans about the tory government and anyone who he even thinks is tory is then subjected to a hale of crap, sorry, he lost a lot of credibility with me once that started. Just because members choose to not always interact it does not mean that they are not following what is being said. I often refrain from commenting, especially if its something out of my depth or something i do not fully understand. I hope this clarifies my position. I am sure his heart is a good one but the abuse I cannot tolerate. Even when he was given a warning (which was overdue in my opinion) he then goes on Twitter complaining and criticising the site editor, he basically threw his rattle out of the pram, these actions are someone immature for a grown man.
