  1. No you are correct the same as speed camera's do not stop people from speeding but it is a deterrent and will help identify any criminals. They have to work on better quality images though and in this day of technology 1080p Full HD is easy enough with the right equipment.
  2. In fairness this was first asked for over 3 years ago! In this post here to be fair to CVP she has got most of this sorted to her credit but it has taken far too long, which I appreciate is not CVP fault.
  3. Cllr thank you for the explanation about your unfortunate allergies but there was really no need to go into detail. I am sure chicken/beef sandwiches or rolls can be provided without any hassle, be good to have you there.
  4. That was a bit of a quick response, I am sure that can be addressed Cllr for people who do not like spicy food, I am sure something else can be provided but we would welcome your presence. What would you prefer to have available?
  5. Correct I still don't understand why they never turned them all off while they had the opportunity. I have thought of another group name; Sequence Free or Lifeless Lights
  6. Wow, I am impressed and I love the whole enthusiastic approach to it. I like your group name Lights Out but here are a few idea's of mine Offlight Signals No More Hereford Flow
  7. Not a lot of use at the weekend when the council offices are closed, where do you go then?
  8. So what happened to the storm, did it completely miss Hereford?
  9. Herefordshire Council is asking residents to help petition for a fair share of funding in rural areas from central government. The rural fair share campaign is being actively promoted by the Rural Services Network with assistance from over 100 MPs from different political parties across the UK, with the aim to ensure that public services in rural areas receive a fair share of government funding. Councillor Tony Johnson, leader of Herefordshire Council, said: “This is not a political issue that we are asking people to get involved in, it is quite simply about trying to bring more money into Herefordshire for the benefit of residents and businesses across the county. “As it currently stands, the government provides rural areas with less funding than other more populated areas of the country. However, although we may have fewer residents than other counties, we have other important issues to consider and finance such as an ageing population and helping people to travel around a large rural area for work.†If you would like to sign the petition and help the council to try and bring more funding into the county, please visit your local info centre or library. The petition will be available until 5pm on Thursday 19 September 2013. The Herefordshire petition will then be presented in the House of Commons in October along with petitions from other rural counties.
  10. Great reply but seriously if these were companies you had employed to carry out repairs at home they simply would not get paid would they.
  11. Craig, first of all WSC are NOT the landowners, so therefore CANNOT make a charge for the use car park, any charge for misuse can only be made by the landowner themselves and this can only represent any quantifiable financial loss as a result of such misuse. H.Wilson had a apparent ticket for £80 for this supposed contravention which is entirely punitive considering the car park is free of any charge for its use. Secondly, it is NOT A TICKET and finally, its about the scammers issuing unrealistic unlawful tactics to earn big profits, I suggest you read all of the topics because the IP is actually a member of the club. If the club are so worried about someone parking in their leased car park for 10 minutes on a Sunday morning their best option, like the hospital would be to install a barrier but I think its damaging to the club and its good reputation allowing some heavy handed PPC to have a licence to print money. Even the BBC Watchdog is discussing exactly this
  12. Yes when everyone left the clubs at 1am yes Commercial Road was mayhem but that has change now totally since the licensing laws were relaxed. The Lunch box near the traffic lights is packed during the early hours of a Friday and Saturday night, so is the garage, so to me it makes no difference and hot food places should be able to stay open as long as they want, its ridiculous
  13. Welcome Biomech
  14. Bill you are right my friend, freedom of speech, I think I would be telling the BRPC where to stick their link too, how childish are they! Colin I love your closing pictures
  15. This does not sound good, whats happening to Hereford?
  16. He hee that has made my day, hilarious and yes very similar in more ways than one.
  17. This council is useless Wendy. Potholes everywhere, coffee shops, charity shops and east european shops, yet we have a burnt out building smack bang in our city centre. Nice new bull sculpture next to our most famous landmark the old house and then a monstrosity of scaffolding that has been there for two years! Either knock it all down and build a nice modern shop with apartments or repair it! :Angry_32:
  18. This is quite funny, made me smile this evening. :Laughing_32:
  19. Ah yes look that way Colin..
  20. I assumed Pontrilas from your comment
  21. We got a parking tickets in Asda about 18 months ago and were advised to ignore it, so we did and yes we had a couple of letters but then they stopped, I think its a scam but you would be surprised how many people just pay up.
