    The Earl of Wessex during his visit to The Oval Hereford today. Prince Edward, has visited several locations in Hereford today. The royal visited the Hereford Academy, the Oval in Newton Farm, Hinton Community Centre and the Kindle Centre. He met residents from South Wye for a community lunch and was treated to dance and choir displays from students and a local dance group, among other things throughout the day.     WELSH Water is to hold an open evening in Hereford to explain its plans to invest £2 billion in the region. The event will be at the Kindle Centre at 6pm on Monday, July 15. The firm will also be displaying information stands in High Town between 10am and 6pm from Monday and Wednesday of that week.

    Do not pay, they are totally and utterly unregulated and until such times as the government get their act in order to regulate these sharks i will never pay them either if i get an invoice placed on my car, which has only happened to me once and i ignored them completely. They manipulate and bully the public into paying large sums or unjustified amounts of money. I notice they rarely try to take people to court, just lots of harassment and threatening letters. I agree with the majority on this topic and suggest reading some good cases studies listed on forums, just do a quick search for speculative invoices in Google you will soon find them.

    Complete joke and another waste of money, simply because they never listen to the local people. I cannot understand how they can agree something with a Councillor and then go back on their word? you even have her name I am surprised you never had something to say about that Cllr Powell to be honest and if you did say something why are they going back on their word? Have you actually spoken to Ruth Kinsella? I dont rate Amey in fairness anyway, I think they skimp over lots of things and I really hope that some other company win the next contract

You can blame druggies and all the violence that we see on the news daily for the utility belt toys, sign of the times, it will be guns next but hey ho lets get back to this graffiti, as this really needs sorting and quickly.

    Uncomfortable for who? I have no problem with any European coming to live in the UK, after all, we are all members of the EU are we not? I think the problem is that we are at capacity as a country and we have to close the doors until such times as these numbers begin to decrease. I lived in Germany for a number of years and there were similar issues there with British people and forces personnel. I remember reading a sign saying a very similar thing and some that said a lot worse, so please do not be naive to think that this sort of thing only happens here. It should NOT happen at all, why can't everybody just live together and get on? Well done to Amey for removing this crap so quickly :Thumbs-Up:

    Ken, welcome to the forums it's good to have you with us. Yes there was an issue some years ago about higher volumes of traffic coming from the A49 but since then Hereford council or the Highways Agency have made the junction a complete and utter mess. But I have experiennced and much better flow of traffic on the occasion when these traffic lights have been out of order and Colin's picture only prove this point. I think you are referring back many years ago when this junction was just a roundabout, I think it has changed a lot since then in fairness nevertheless a vaild point.

    Yes Adrian a lot of items reported here have not been completed, dead posts being one of them. Larger keep clear signs on the Tesco roundabout have been promised and again nothing had been done about that either.
