    Well the lights at Newmarket roundabout are now working a treat but why did it take an e-mail by me to the Highways agency to get the SCOOT fault fixed.I'm sure Herefordshire Council pays something like £12,000 a year for its upkeep. On another note has anyone seen the new traffic lights in Blackfriars Street? Noway do they need to be installed there,idiots

    You want to feel lucky..I took my lad to a job interview just outside Belmont,drove back through the traffic to Commercial Rd 30 mins later then he rang me to go and pick him up.

    I must say this is a lovely building.....On the outside but the ornate stonework has never been touched and has imo been left to rot to the extent that it needs a fortune spent on it to preserve it. On the inside however its a bloody miss match of many many alterations and is plain butt ugly in most parts. On the whole this building should be saved and put to better use

    What boils my p**s is that these so called teams of pothole fillers are just filling reported potholes.Even though there are potholes close by the one reported they just ignore them. I thought Amey were a joke but Balfour Beatty knock spots off them.

    Went past today.Looks like they have tarmac'd a 200 yd stretch of road. The potholes on the B&Q B&M access road are now a serious danger to motorcyclists cyclists etc to the extent that if anyone hit the big one square on they have a good chance of serious injury or even death.

    No we don't have the same Glenda.We have a row of restaurants and a new Cinema and a row of new shops with a supermarket. And as I stated in my last comment there are 50 shop units in Newports shopping centre and after looking at the floor plan again just 16 units in the new development.Hardly a huge shopping development is it.

I am writing on behalf of Amey who are employed by the Highways Agency to maintain the Motorways and Trunk Roads in the West Midlands until 30th June 2014 In response to your enquiry to the Highways Agency Information Line Thank you for your comments/concerns relating to the traffic lights on the Newmarket St roundabout in Hereford. A specialist is going to scene on 3rd March to see what he can do also. The main contributing effect is coming from the works in Newmarket until these works are completed things can settle down.
