  1. Don’t get out much do you Adrian!! Did you know that C&A have gone from Maylords too?
  2. Hunderton Residents! There is a 'Local Watch Scheme Meeting' at the 'Scout Hut', Blackmarston Rd at 8pm on Wednesday 3rd February Please come along. Members of The Local Safer Neighbourhood Team will also be in attendance.
  3. I wonder if Moulan Rouge are going to be in contact with Tesco Belmont? By the looks of it they've copied the font for their new cafe, that's just not on!! One rule for one and all that...........
  4. I have just fitted out my mates VW van with these no psu requires as they are 12V, Remote controlled with various lumen’s and sequences. I am now going to fit them around the home & garden as they are discrete, super bright, controllable and cheap. The psu can be wired directly into the existing light fitment! I’m all for LED, may even go RGB!! (For the sceptics of buying overseas, I regularly buy from BG and delivery is normally 10-15 days. As a comparison the same LEDs above are £40 in maplin! thats 602% increase)
  5. You’ve obviously got the wrong luminescence then! I have them scattered around the house, they are brighter than the old incandescent bulbs. See these I just took. Normal No flash With Flash LED without flash LED with Flash Also notice the light cast on the ceiling, these bulbs are about a tenner each. for the best light output buy LEDs that are described as COB.
  6. What about Hereford Voice incorporating Colin for local community award? Has he not made a difference? I think so.
  7. You can read the CQC report on Hereford here.
  8. Hereford Hospital is still in special measures you can read the full report here
  9. Wasn't too bad at all, and work completed well before time. Don't know what the fuss was about. Roads still being kept clean and tidy, seen a few suits walking around so I assume H&S is all in order too.
  10. This made me laugh- cheers! Look at the oval keepmoat thread and the uproar that has caused!! You'll upset another group of folks if you do that! You can't please everyone. If I didn't have the opportunity to own an affordable home, then I'd still be lining my AUSTRALIAN (yes living there) landlords pockets!
  11. There has been a big debate on this for many years, not just H&G canal but in general. I believe that the consensus was that none urgent, non perishable, & oversized cargo could travel the country for a fraction of the cost of road or rail haulage. Saving companies thousands of pounds. Commercially it is viable to reuse the canals, however we have lost our network of canals when we joined the rat race! Having spent a few individual weeks holiday on the canal, I'm all for it. What's better than pootling along a few miles at a time and stopping at the next pub for breakfast dinner & tea! Not a care in the world, seeing and adoring our beautiful countryside. Something we can't see in our modern fast metal boxes! On the other side. Canals link places avoiding traffic - I used to work in Birmingham and would cycle from brum to Worcester along the canal and catch the train to Hereford, every week! Had the canal continued further I probably would've cycled home! Very few hills too. All the best to H&G CT.
  12. Some strains of cannabis can have as little as 0.3 percent THC by weight. In other strains, THC makes up 20 percent of the weight in a sample. Average THC concentration in marijuana is 1 to 5 percent; in hashish, it is 5 to 15 percent, and in hashish oil, it averages 20 percent. THC in recreational doses of marijuana is highly variable and the lower the THC content in the marijuana, the more the user must consume to produce the desired effect. UK "Homegrown" marijuana is low in THC, compared to that of "au natural" marijuana of warmer climes. In Morocco they only smoke Hashish, with connoisseurs preferential to resin oil! THC can be extracted from marijuana, or synthesized, as is the case for the approved drug dronabinol. Dronabinol is used to treat or prevent the nausea and vomiting associated with cancer medicines and to increase the appetites of people with AIDS.
  13. Kath cidston in OLM has now vacated too. "The rates in Hereford are considerably more than that of a larger premise in larger cities" (source) The whole rates malarkey and who owns what and burnt shells etc is a complete joke. HC & HCC need to sort it out quick sharp. Even my 3yo keeps asking me "Why is there no shop in there daddy?" She's 3!
  14. Hmm tricky one that Denise, I'm not in support of this but IMO a landlord does not concern me as a job. In my many years as a tenant, I've had many landlords only ever met one! Anything that needed doing was reported either directly to landlord or associate. The work was then carried out by a tradesman. And that is how a friend of mine also operates his properties. His job is a onsite carpenter. Tenants pay rent to him and leaves them too it. An MP on the other hand isn't that a full time job? And a MD also a full time job? That's atleast 16hrs a day in my calculations.....
  15. If anyone has had their ID, or what you believe to be direct misrepresentation of your online persona used elsewhere, could you please send me a direct personal message with details and alias's. For clarification purpose example, Herefordian123 and Heref0rdians1234, i would not class as an impersonation, however Hereford Voices and Diligaf is! Thankyou.
  16. It's only the comments deleted roger, not the ID. They can continue to post.
  17. You don't even have to smoke it anymore.......... http://empirenews.net/colorado-teens-injecting-marijuana-to-get-high/ Remind me what planet I'm on again!!
  18. Bill Smith, Frank Thomas, Bill Franks and Thomas Smith have all just signed up here!!! JOKING!!!!
  19. I agree I've nothing to hide. Yes very well and good, but can WMP afford to train pilots to official CAA standards for reconnaissance purposes? I think going rate is around 3 grand. No they don't fly by themselves as many think! Heard of the Phantom flyaways? £500-1k gone In the blink of an eye, serves you right!
  20. Had the pleasure of TFAC week with B&B early 90s, both legends and the campfire stories - unbelievable, but believable as it was those two telling them in first person accounts, knowing who they are and what they endured, why would they make a story up?! Always Remembered.
