    After looking at a facebook page on the Old Market I see that Wildwood are opening one of their restaurants in the large building opposite Frankie & Bennys

    My sister works there Bill and has done for a very long time,way before 2006 too :-) Also car park is free after 8pm at the Old market.

    B&Q have only had seasonal opening hrs for the last three years

    Just been down Venns Lane,makes a difference not to be shaken to death :-). On another note our traffic light lover has had their own way again as the lights at the College Road/ Old School Lane/Venns Lane jctn have be replaced with new ones. Why the hell they did not put two mini roundabouts in here to help the motorists coming from Old School Lane into College Road is beyond me.

    Many years ago Dippy.The last time I went in there was for a wake for John Payne and the place was run down with some Biker gang hovering around outside,something to do with the person who was running it.

    I think they tried to but never got in,also HUFC have now paid the Council nearly all the money that is owed

    I also heard that whoever was going to install the new kitchen etc pulled out over a year ago. The Whitehouse holds a lot of memories for me as it was my local drinking den for many years

    Right with you on that AV people are lazy.     They can't even get people to use a bus park n ride and are you saying people from South of river Newton Farm/Belmont etc will drive to the train station to catch a train to.......the train station? What would they do then to get to work/school catch a bus

    We have been fighting for a simple by pass for years with its cost probably around 25-30 million. I was going past Worcester today on one of the three by passes they have had built over the years to see they are extending and widening the road just past the Diglis docks bridge at a cost of 23 million.

    Jack Torrance hit the nail on the head with his write up in Management today & why we complain about empty shops is beyond me as there simply is not the need for most of them. Take out coffee shops,phone shops,charity shops and the City Center would be three parts empty would it not. The way we shop,what we shop for and where has changed and has been doing so since the arrival of Supermarkets & the internet

    They have just been stopped from advertising everything in store £1 after they were found selling items for more than a £1
