So this area is covered by this 'Cumulative Impact Policy' and they were also worried about the queues going into Yates, what the hell? So how do other cities manage then with one pub next to another? Hereford Council are so out of touch and just look at any reason to object. If this applicant had applied for a licence anywhere else, ie Eign Road or Whitecross Road, then they would of refused or put more restrictions in place being in a residential area, you can't win..

Duh!! I suggest that you go check it out and read the whole topic! These 2 sets being discussed here have independent pedestrian lights which a separate to the main scoot lights!

No they are NOT part of the same system, the traffic lights are operated on a scoot system where are pedestrian lights are operated independently via a button that the pedestrian presses.

Welcome to my world but when those lights are out of order that traffic is non existent, funny that.

I agree with Colin response above, furthermore, a permit for this car park is over £1500 pa, I reckon there are at least 40 spaces so thats £60,000 earner from a piece of land that used to FREE to park on, if you were a tenant of the offices along Bridge St, so these permit charges are an addon since about 2006. Greed comes to mind.

So we don't need smaller rural police stations then? Just give a copper his radio and the public their number sorted.. How is that serving the community? Sometimes just seeing a police station will make the more vulnerable feel just that little bit safer, but hey! Lets close them all down and hand out numbers for people to call, all in the name of cost cutting. These services have and should be available, so the public are missing out because the last Gov apparently spent too much on other ****, sorry, I don't buy that, we are payig now because the tories want to be seen to get the national debt down and win votes in future elections. They are all as bad as each other and it's the public that have to cough up everytime! Start charging visitors and non UK residents a £10 visa to enter the UK that would help, it seems that we are all being penalised because of others mistakes!

I took my elderly mum shopping last week, it usually takes a couple of hours to get around the store, mind you she is 85 years old. Long story short, when we got to the till the lady said you best be quick because your two hours parking is almost up. My mum wanted to go for dinner in the cafe but we could not because they could not issue a separate ticket for the car park... I said that's ridiculous, a supervisor was stood next to her and said no, after two hours you have to leave the car park, I said but we are going to spend even more money in your store in the cafe, she said you can't! I caould not believe my ears, so we left. How stupid is this?

I was in th new shopping centre earlier today and didn't see a cash point anywhere, unless they are hidden...

A very nice touch from Michael Owen. Congratulation to Hereford United for battling against all the odds o stay up, I for one though they were going down for sure. Lucky escape, but they need to get rid of the people at the top and start a fresh otherwise we will have the same scenario next season.
