  1. You are kidding, where have been over the last few years? Most of them are closed, sure the city council have opened some of them back up, well kind of, but the council have now got this community toilet thing. in other words, we want to take your money but do not want to supply loos in the city.
  2. Get moaned at for not voting and when we vote we still get moaned at, no pleasing some people. So what more can we say about Nick Nenaditch's brother? We said it all end of topic.
  3. I did not vote them back in , Green for national and It's our county for local. I thought at least IOC would have done better than they did, but this is Hereford after all. As for Greens, I only voted for them because it had to be better than Voting for one of the waste of space main parties, but I did come close to voting UKIP.
  4. I bet he won't blame the government for it.
  5. I thought they had already gone, it is bad for people who lose their jobs. When they can pay lower wages in China, this will happen more and more. Sadly manufacturing in this country have been going down hill for years.
  6. The previous government was a Tory and Lib Dems one. Do you really think the tories are any better than Labour? No difference in any of them to be honest.
  7. I bet they will be demolished, like the ones behind the College green shops.
  8. Why is this selling of the farms to another landlord any different to what the council did to their houses a few years ago? I am not saying if it is right or wrong, but I do notice that some people who are against this are also those who are against animals being used for food, I thought they would have been happy with farms closing if they do close.
  9. Great if you want to pay nearly £10 for a fish finger sarnie.
  10. If it paid for itself then fine, but as the report said it is not cost affective and we all know that when these things lose money it is us the tax payer that ends up paying for them. So yes, in the circumstances it is common sense.
  11. Common sense at long last. Makes a change for our council.
  12. But not one person still do not say how it will be funded.
  13. Where would the money come from for this? some bushinesses are complaining about the extra tax they have to pay for HBID, so I can not see many putting money in for a Tourist information centre. Why does it need to be so big?
  14. is it opened yet? The last time I went into town the building was still empty. Maybe that shows how often I go into. I have to go into town on Thursday, so I may have a look
  15. No wonder this city have gone down hill if all council members think like that.
  16. I thought this was normal in government, be it local, national or European. this is why and no offence to you, I normally take what politicians say with a pinch of salt. So much scratching of each others back, it is difficult to trust any of them.
  17. I think your post have proved the point that Hereford is a dull place. Sport is fine for younger people, just a shame that a lot of the younger people are moving out of Hereford as there is no future here, until they retire and they may come back All of what opened in the old market shop wise have added very little new, clothes, mainly women's or over priced. A over price jeweller shop, a supermaket and a Debenhams which someone asked me why did they bother as it is about as much use as a bucket with a hol;e in. (their words not mine) Resturants are okj if you like that sort of thing, but have we not already got a load like it? We have loads of places that sells chicken, pizzas galore and Tacos seems to be the new in thing, so places for them as well. I have said before that the courtyard is too small and not the nicest place to sit in for a couple of hours or so watching a show, I been there and done that, not enough room between the seats, uncomfortable and the stage is far too small. Not tak,ing anything away fromt he shows that are put on, but the venue is not that great. I have yet have not been to the new cinema, but a mate of mine have got tickets for the new Starwars, so I will be going for the first time when that is on. Pubwise, I do like going out for a drink, prefer the Beer in hand, but I do go to others. As for leaving Hereford, if I was younger and in better health and could get work and if my Dad was not here, then I think I would be gone. The problem is Hereford is neither one thing or another, it is a small city that is trying to be big and it does not work.
  18. Another pub lost, not so sure if chippy there will do any good, it is a bit out of the way. I went to the spread at the start of the year for a meal, it was ok for the price, but I would not have gone over board about it. Do we really need another chippy? We do need a decent one as it seems the chip shops in Hereford is going downhill quality wise. i wonder if these people who serve their products taste them to see what they are like. I agree about the colour.
  19. Very good news, getting to be a lack of pubs on that side of the river.
  20. This is one of the reason why a friend of mine still get letters now and again via the London congestion charge zone. Number plate recognition is not as perfect as we are led to believe.
  21. It is a shame they have nothing better to do. Also to add, well done Colin.
  22. May go next year if all is well, I was thinking of going, but after getting home from work I could not be bothered, also no fun by yourself.
  23. Ok, maybe I was a bit tough on the Court Yard, I have seen a few good shows there.
  24. That is true. To be honest, it should have been done years ago.
