  1. I am glad I do not have a green or black bin. I did have a letter last year I think saying that I could have a green bin. Yeah, with a set of steps? no thank you, just because my next door neighbour asked for one, do not mean I want one. The main problem I have with the new service is other people sticking their rubbish they can not fit into their bin outside my place. I know where it comes from and I kicked it back there. It have got better and I have not had them do it for a few weeks now. My next door neighbour does, but then I said if I have less than four bags they are welcomed to put their rubbish outside my place. No skin of my nose, at least they asked. I admit I do not recycle, but being single I can get away with one black back a fortnight, sometimes two. I am paying more for less service, so they can stick their recycling where the sun don't shine.
  2. also nice smoothies as well, when the weather is good., GK, a great gesture, I have not or will not take up the offer. Not that fond of Cost coffee to be honest.
  3. I was going to go and have a look, but due to health problems at the moment, could not make it. Too cold and wet. Hopefully I will be able to go. Saying that I should be back working then, so I may find it difficult to get the Saturday off, but I will try
  4. A nice artisan bakery would be nice as well. I would not mind seeing a local coffee shop, too many chain ones now with Costa taking two and I am not sure what Nero is doing. There was some talk about it going to mothercare, but that is to let, so if they was going there, it would not be advertised to let. I rather sit in the coffee cart by the butter market watching the world go by than sit in one of the coffee chain stores.
  5. Wow, I do not think only going once to a shopping centre, if you want it to call it that have nothing to do with me being a bundle of joy or not. We used to have mens clothes shops in the city centre, but since we got very little choice in our city now, where else do you think I should get my clothes from? I suppose I could go to Cardiff, may go there in the summer anyway. the high street is dead anyway, so shopping online is not going to much more damaged. I try to support local shops if I can, butchers and bakeries not that we have got many local bakeries. in fact I think we only have one in the city centre and that is behind the butter market. I would not complain if the old market closed down, it holds little interest for me, it would be a shame about the lost of jobs, even if most are part time and on low wages. We need more shops in the city centre, but the Old market took a lot of them, something we was told would not happen, again we have been lied to over and over again about that monstrosity that now stands on the cattle market site. It seems like it is falling apart already with the tarpaulin on the roof, which I seen going past it yesterday.
  6. To be honest, there is nothing there that really interest me. There is hardly any mens clothing shops and what they have is limited, so I been told, so I get my clothes online. I am not interested in any of the restaurants, Over priced and most are not for my taste. While I love coffee, I do not see the point in going all the way over to the Old market to have a coffee in costa. I did try the new costa in high town, the first and the last, the coffee was horrid. Nero is better and if it is nice i prefer to drink my coffee outside at the coffee cart. Waitrose is outside my price range and since I work in a supermarket anyway, I prefer to support the place I work. So that leaves a cinema, which I may go to one day, but the problem is they are too expensive and there have not been any films so far that have made me think about spending that amount of money to watch. Saying that I have not been to any cinema for over 10 years. So nothing at the old Market that I have any interest in to be honest. .
  7. Only been to the old market once since it opened and that was in Waitrose. Anyone else who have not really bothered with the place or think that it offers nothing for them? It do not offer anything for me to be honest. It is the posh part of the city.
  8. Oh. they are not much better, they seem to get into bed with the tories once elected.
  9. I was chatting to the north Hereford Green candidate today, doing a bit of a video shoot and she impressed me to be honest. Ok I am not in North Hereford, but that is not the point. The problem is politicians normally say what they want you to hear and once they get in they forget about it. But what she was saying made sense. But I am still stumped with who to vote for, Green is not really my type of party, the problem is I will not vote tory and Lib Dems, UKIP, I am not sure about to be honest, while some of their policies looks good, I think they still a one trick party. Labour is a wasted vote to be honest. Thinking of not voting in the GE, after all what is the use of voting just for the sake of it?
  10. I have no idea who I am going to vote for in the GE, to be honest there is not much difference between any of them. We get the same rubbish form then before the election and once they get into power it is all forgotten. I did a test to see who I am suited to vote for, it was mainly UKIP, with just under half Labour and then a small percentage of green. I would vote for the raving loony party I think if they stood if Hereford.
  11. Will IOC bring back our weekly rubbish collection? Four bags every two weeks is stupid and while I do not put four bags out, other people do, right outside my house. I am voting of IOC, even if they did annoy by putting a sign outside my house using screws into my fence without my permission. I do not mind it being there as I have a poster on my door, but they could have asked.
  12. It is getting closer, our Co-op is getting a new look, so exciting :) Who says that nothing ever happens up the College? Mind you it is about time something was done about it as it was getting tatty, but something needs to be done about the parking as people park in stupid places on the corners and I can see someone getting injured or killed on day. Is anyone Councillors representing the College, ok Aylstone post on here? i can't see NICK NENADICH doing so, to be honest. I doubt it it is his sort of thing. I do not know about Brian Willcox as I know very little about him. but maybe they should look at the parking at the Co-op.
  13. Since I live up here, I may as well post in here, if anyone will see it is another thing. Roads around here are being resurfaced, about time as some of them are awful. Not sure what ones, I know Kingsway is being done by the Co-op and up a little bit and I see they are doing some work in Queensway.
  14. While this seems like a good idea, I have read that it could lead to a lot of people being missed out.
