  4. Brass players and yes absolutely fantastic I'd probably pay to see them.I didn't see or hear the one outside Lloyds
  5. So impressed was I even put some money in their hat - not like me at all -
  6. Not really relevant but I had to go to town today. Went to OLM for the first time then into High Town I don't know what it was but felt enormously relieved once I got back into the real town. Anyway besides the point can somebody tell me who the band were playing outside M & S?
  7. Council leaders of all parties plead for no more cuts Public services will suffer terribly if the chancellor insists on more savings Save Public Services retweeted Shirley Burnham â€@ShirleyBurnham 3h3 hours ago Council leaders of all parties plead for no more cuts http://www.theguardian.com/theobserver/2014/nov/30/letters-council-leaders-across-spectrum-plead-no-more-cuts … 40 Tory signatories listed, inc Swindon's @CllrDavidRenard Unless I am very much mistaken HC have not put their name to this why?
  8. Once again HUFC has found it's way into the national press. Good article in the Independent Bulls News retweeted Louise Phillips â€@Louloulips 4h4 hours ago My story about the boycott of Hereford United FC: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/news-and-comment/fans-look-away-as-hereford-teeter-on-edge-of-the-abyss-as-fans-organise-boycott-9891872.html … HC should be ashamed of themselves for not putting a stop to all this bad press a long time ago and even more ashamed that they are dealing with people of this caliber
  9. Bobby if you have got God and gone and got yourself a hotline to him please send him over for a visit to Kingstone. We need him.
  10. I wonder why this is not in the HT Bill T must be away
  11. Excellent idea hopefully it will keep some young people safe when they have just had one or two too many - we've all done it. Mind you they will have to negotiate the steps in this magnificent building.
  12. Another from Here for Hereford - a little bedtime reading - Here for Hereford retweeted Peter Brown â€@PeterFBrown 6h6 hours ago Herefordshire Council opts in to Joint Property Vehicle http://www.worcesternews.co.uk/news/11631303.Mass_public_sector_buildings__merger__plan_backed_by_Worcester_councillors/?ref=twtrec …
  13. These people on loads of money don't earn it they get paid it
  14. For the last 30 years in the various posts I have held with different companies I have had to lie lie lie which is probably why I despise fibbers now. The thing is if you are not prepared to do the things expected of you there is always somebody waiting in the background to do it. Funny you should mention the would you sleep with ................. scenario when I was with one particular company my workmates and I would quite often ask each this question and the answer was nah. We did have some morals.

  16. Yes having had computer nightmare problems I am back. In Somerset where they had all the terrible flooding (I've forgotten the name of the exact place) an elevated road is now being constructed to help alleviate the situation. But for reasons best known to HC they are determined to go west look how PA's at Bartestree are being turned down yet PA's on the west are being passed more freely.
  17. "Hereford County Hospital patient Ebola test comes back NEGATIVE" and thank God (or whatever your persuasion maybe) for that Ragwert you must tap faster than I
  18. Let us hope this is ASDA/NHS just doing their job properly. Anyone at the moment who is displaying symptons similar to this horrible illness should be treated with extreme caution. Let us hope and pray that it is not Ebola.
  19. This is now on the market see page 91 of this weeks HT. Being sold as prime residential opportunity based on part conversion and part new build to create 15 high quality dwellings.
  20. RT @bbchw The route for Hereford's Southern Link road has been approved. It'll run from from the A49 to the A465 - with a link to B4349 0 replies0 retweets0 favorites Well that was the outcome of the Cabinet Meeting but we knew that would happen. Let's hope Here for Hereford can do something magical. Incidentally Hereford Voice had a mention from Here for Hereford.
  21. It's not only people with babies. Think back a couple of months and collection of yellow bags was stopped. These bags contained clinical waste (soiled pads/stoma bags and the such like) from people who through no fault of their are not always able to use the toilet like so many of us more fortunate people are. This is now being stored in black bags for 2 weeks. Many of these people are being cared for by their partners or offspring with little else help from the outside world. They too are often infirm and more often do not drive so it has to stay sat there in a black bag for a fortnight. Or perhaps they have outside carers well sorry these carers do not have the time to take these bags down to the tip plus health and safety issue. Remember these just same carers are going to their next "service user". Once upon a time if the infirm could not manage the black bags/bins there was an arrangement with the trusty bin ben that they would collect the rubbish from outside the door or whatever. Sadly it appears those days are well and truly over. Compassion seems to be disappearing from this county very rapidly.
