Very well deserved have a good year as our Mayor of Hereford

Poland like a few other countries have the right attitude in my book. We now have a Muslim Mayor of London in a christian country, we have lost our identity and I see little in the way of integration. There are far too many do-gooders worrying about upsetting or offending other cultures in this country, integrate or leave! Poland and Hungary do not have the problems on the scale that we experience here, I drove through London last week and was shocked when I witnessed muslim extremists walking and shouting with banners in Walthamstow, not one arrest, but walk with a banner shouting and balling at a football match and see how many get arrested then. These countries should not be bullied or threatened with huge fines for not taking muslim migrants.

Well done Tracey this is very good news and a good achievement.

This is a terrible situation which was undoubtibly and discustingly has been covered up! I do not buy into that one person is to blame for the fatal events that followed, it was a catalogue of errors. I am not a fan of majority verdicts and you cannot get away from what Paul Jones has written above; However, I do feel that I am probably wasting my time with some members on here in expressing my opinion because those people will never admit a single fan was anything other than an angel that day. I do hope that the families of the victims now have some sort of closure in what has clearly been a long ordeal for them all.

The tree idea is ridiculous and will cause even bigger problems long term, the council cannot afford to pay BB now for tree maintenance so can you imagine what this will look like in 10 years time! I agree with Denise, emergency vehicles use the middle section of the road and in my opinion it should be kept clear.

Rather than we all carry on arguing about which is the best route, lets just get on with it now and get it built or it will never happen!

I cannot think of anything worse for Belmont Rd right now than narrowing the road and placing trees down the centre. Why are the council and highways agency NOT addressing the real issue here which is the poxy traffic lights and the fact that we need at least 2 more river crossings for starters. Reading this report, they have not even considered turning off the traffic lights at night, which I though was a brilliant idea.

You know how difficult it is to prove they are selling dodgy fags and stuff but they still continue! So all they have to do then each time their licence for booze (which is their main income no doubt hence why they dot won't to loose it) is revoked or they end up in court, is change the business owner and start all over again?

I do not agree, I think the opposite, he has done the right thing and handled this better than expected.

I appreciate that but refusing a booze licence will impact of their business.

Guess what? Zardashit Karem Salh has sold/handed over the business to his brother, how predictable! Wait for the new license application to be submitted.

They should close them down and certainly not give them their alcohol licence back, they rely on this and still are offering dodgy cigarettes! They also do not pay their staff the minimum wage, all staff earn only £4 per hour, (more fool them I know). I also heard that the new shop on the Belmont Rd (Mila) is also selling doggy fags and have employed an illegal migrant who came here from Calais under a lorry, these people are just taking the micky and appear to be getting away with it, they should clamp down on them.

Well done to Tesco for taking the initiative, I agree, we should not have starving people in 2016. Lets hope other supermarkets and companies follow their lead.
