  1. Brilliant caption and good to see the Left Bank open for business once again, pity about the Jailhouse.
  2. Great to see more local support for each other.
  3. There is a brand new car park on the old Rockfield site, which in fairness is not expensive, personally, I think Morrison's have cocked up, I have heard quite a few people complain since this new policy of theirs was implemented. They used to have a guy sat in a booth when they first opened that was at least a better option, so may people will get caught out here simply because they don't know that they have to purchase a ticket, you are relying on the cashier to ask you, which apparently is down to the cashier. I agree with you on the above.
  4. I am in agreement with your comments Bill and I stopped using Morrison's as soon as they implemented this policy.
  5. Oh no here we go again...
  6. He does not even realise that Hereford is a city not a town!
  7. We visited the Old Market yesterday and although it's all new etc.. 80% of the stores are still empty or not open, so how can they still justify charging full price for the car parks? I was charged £2.40 for 70 mins parking and then the barrier would not let us out, not the best shopping experience we have ever had.
  8. No way will there be 20,000 visitors today, dreaming I think, mind you, I am currently sat in a very long traffic jam south of Hereford and it feels like there are 20,000 cars right now, its a nightmare, should get to the city centre sometime this morning, hopefully
  9. The Palace did not go to the wall the owner of the building wanted it back and refused to give them a new lease.
  10. Website loads fine for me too no problems here, sometimes it slows down a little in the evening but a lot of websites do in fairness due to higher volumes of users but in the main i find the site as fast as any other. I use Internet Explorer but will have a look at these others, I was unaware there was such a choice available.
  11. While I appreciate what you are saying, I still think yo are using this as your excuse to avoid working with smartieno1, I also appreciate that you are the elected councillor but it seems to me that you want to run this on your own in order to claim any credit at the end. I know this may sound harsh and I know that you work tirelessly for the community but offered help from another person you cannot undervalue!! Bottom line here is you either want to work together or you are refusing, with regard to local authorities not wanting to work with non elected parties that's a load rubbish in my experience because all that will do is get them bad press which they will attempt to avoid at all costs but if this is the case then work with smatieno1 and you just echo what he wants through your councilor channels, if you want it to work, it will.
  12. This whole area needs tidying up and I just hope that the people who will benefit from the new homes will look after them and the surroundings that they will live in.
  13. Panicking now the new shopping centre is opening lol
  14. I tend to agree with you Roger, I have seen several discussions on here turn into actions being implemented, this website and things like social media play a big role these days and should not be ignored.
