  1. They are in dreamland if they think it is worth 45p, looks like the end is near for the journal.
  2. This has been like this for a few years! why does it take a member on here to point it out before any action is taken? Did none of the councillors not notice this on their weekly walks?
  3. I did not mention anything about being pefect, what I actually said was
  4. Cllr Powell cannot take any form of being told "she was wrong" about something, thought you knew that Victor? hence, her reply to you, even though you had taken the time to write a constructive response without being nasty at all.
  5. Well then you are probably the only person who did not receive the sticker pack... If you have a look on all the wheelie bins they all have stickers, plain white to put your number on and in that same pack were the other stickers, you must of missed those, but the other stickers have a list of al the item that can be placed in the bins. Have a look at your neighbours next time they put them out and you will see what I mean. There was loads about all this stuff in the papers for weeks leading up to the wheelie bins being distributed so I am surprised that you did not know about the foil...I would like to see the letter you have, can you post it on here because I think you may of misread it.
  6. Sorry to disagree with you Councillor but please read the orange section NO FOIL. Q. Why can I no longer put foil in my recycling? A. There are a number of reasons why you can no longer put foil in your recycling. Firstly, it acts like paper in the sorting process making it difficult to separate. It also accounts for a negligible amount of the commingled recycling (approx 0.001%) and would take up valuable storage space at EnviroSort which can be more beneficially used for other materials. Envirosort If you want to recycle foil you will need to take it to; Hereford City HWS/ TLS Chapel Lane, Rotherwas, HR2 6LD Waste types: Mixed Metal Food & Drink Cans Car Oil Shoes Car Batteries Steel Food & Drink Cans Garden Waste All Plastic Bottles Scrap Wood
  7. Oh I did not know that we were not supposed to put polythene in the wheelie bin, now I know
  8. It is much better now but looking at the latest pictures I see where you are coming from. Looks like a bit of a rush job lol. At least the bulk of the tree's have been removed, which is a result on it's own.
  9. Thank you very much to brpc for supplying this to us. :Smile_32:
  10. I have tried searching all the local sites to see if I can find you a map of the area's in question but without luck.
  11. I think Rotherwas and Bullingham also come under South Wye
  12. Spot on, but a copy would be nice.
  13. That is what Amey call cutting the grass? why have they not cut it properly? that is so annoying, they had the kit and personnel on site and they can't be bothered to do the job right, didn't she like the stinging nettles and weeds along the kerbside then? stupid thing is she would of had to of lifted the strimmer over the weeds in order to strim the grass along that little verge.
  14. They could of got this right the first time, instead now they will have to come back, mind you they have grown very quickly
  15. Who ever selects these colours for choice? they all sound horrible, I mean pale blue? more sate of tax payers money, and yes don't be surprised when you find out what it has cost for that disgusting colour, looks worse than ever now in my opinion. :Thumbs-Down:
  16. First of all, welcome to the forum Andy As a local resident I agree with everything that Frank has said, especially about the police station. St Francis would be a good place to use as a hub. There is a major lack of police presence in Newton Farm this is one of the biggest issues in my opinion.
  17. Oh dear, Slightly unprofessional I would say. Your not going to advise us now on further information in regards to restrictions, how childish is that remark? nevertheless, not interested as one rule for one and another rule for us. I think this is a really good debate and sometimes you will get questions thrown in, but is that not what a debate is about? You do not need to keep explaining what restrictions amey have got to follow, i think we got the message on that, but the other questions about yellow boxes and road markings as another member said are valued ones. Walnut tree ave, well spotted, i totally totally agree that now amey have repainted this yellow box then they must have now taken ownership of it, so the questions being asked are fair ones. It is irrelivent that it has been there for a long time, if it is wrong now then it should of been corrected last week. I am going to contact the DOT myself and ask the question, unless Amey would like to comment and put us straight with facts rather than opinion.
  18. Agree with you. Mr James originally requested yellow boxes back 3 years ago, so t has taken this long to get anything done, which in my opinion is unexceptable. I appreciate that Cllr Powell has had discussions with the contractors, but 3 years!! Mr James has also pointed out various other signs around the city which are bigger than the new ones, but has been given excuses that these were already in place and were not Amey's doing, so it seems to me that there is no consistency or not when it suits anyway. ????? You must be on the same planet as another local Cllr who made the same comments, IT IS NOT WORKING WELL! SEE PICTURES.
