Trouble within the Council?

Recommended Posts

Who knows. I don't. I know buggar all and what I do know ain't worth a jot of notice but, a Director of Hereford Council, Jenny Lewis is about to jump ship and scurry off to join Hertfordshire Council.
Why? I mean, huge salary, massive pension, do little or nothing all day long, attend a few meetings and create confusion amongst the staff beneath you, so why go?
I think something's gone wrong and nows the time for her to go. But, what do I know? I know nothing!

That's the point

Nobody but 'Jenny Lewis' knows what she does and that's if she does of course?

But then again

Does any of them know what their doing??

Answers on a postcard please to....

...What building do they 'ahem' work in now??

Doesn't explain what she does, but a useful document to show what they at the council should be doing. Not sure if it is up to date as these people tend to move quickly to suit themselves.

Also their corporate plan.

Masterpieces of council-speak, riddled with puff and jargon. "I am not accepting of mediocrity" indeed.

Quite. And I am not accepting of deceit, double standards, a complete lack of transparency or accountability and a cabinet who don't even live in the city!

Yet it would appear that I'm stuck with it.....well, at least until May 2015!

Good afternoon,

Jenny Lewis. Is going to Hampshire to head HR for the county council, police and fire service. She leaves in June. I understand that her current position will be reviewed and a decision made as to whether her current post will change or not shortly.
