  1. Diligaf! This one's for you! I know that you have searched high and low. You've made phone calls, sent emails, knocked on doors. All to no avail. Your quest to find Cllr Edwards has proved fruitless. I understand your frustration. I feel your pain. But Diligaf....you need worry no more! He's Alive! Check out HT.....!
  2. Unsurprised, that the odious twosome have once again taken a swipe at those in need of help. Quite frankly, they disgust me. Just whose views are they representing in Westminster? Certainly not mine.

    HEDGEHOGS

Oh,Ubique! That truly is a photo to melt the heart! Too cute for words! You and the lovely Mrs U, really are wonderful people. I'm proud to know you!
  4. You were quite correct, Denise. Comments alluding to Dave's 'history' with porkus maximus, are on page three of this thread, so I'm not quite sure why your 'telling off' was needed...??? Interestingly, on page 4 post 118 of this thread, Roger shares his thoughts on how a well fitting bra should look. I'm not convinced fashion advice is really sticking to the topic either! But speaking as someone whose mind wanders off at a tangent....I shall not criticize!
  5. Positive news. For far too long, there has been too much food waste from the big supermarkets. Good to see that Tesco appear to be leading the way in stopping the ridiculous practise, which sees perfectly edible food thrown away when people are going hungry. Next.... we need to sort out the root causes of why so many folks are in need of food banks in 2016.
  6. Hi Slim, yes I knew this event was coming up. Disappointed that the time has been set when most folks are working.... ironically in areas that are so stretched there is no cover to allow staff to attend! Still, it's good that those in charge are making themselves available to discuss this extremely important issue. I hope it's well attended, and that those who are able to go, have some searching questions for the panel. Thanks for posting the info on Hereford Voice!
  7. Absolutely tragic. Words seem so inadequate at such a heartbreaking time. No parent should have to bury their child. How can you even begin to deal with a loss as sad as this? Sending love, hugs and sincere condolences to the family. They are very much in my thoughts.
  8. Not surprised in the least, Megilleland. But I am completely disgusted with the pair of them.
  9. Awww. Look. Just one prod with a pointy stick, and they all emerge together. Bless.
  10. That would be a start, Ragwert, and if I held the purse strings, that 27 million for the link road would have been ear marked for much better alternative projects!
  11. You say futile. I say future. Let's have a bit of joined up thinking on solving Hereford's traffic issues. This could work, and make a real impact on congestion. But there has to be a willingness to at least try to find alternatives. (By the way, I think you'd be quite astonished at who I've got to know over the years...eclectic doesn't even begin to cover it!)
  12. I think I may have to Bobby. There's only so much bigotry I can stomach. Catch up with you soon mate.
  13. It's bitterly cold outside. I hope she's found soon.
  14. I'd call Albert Heijn an incredible entrepreneur. He thought this idea had huge potential. It was Herefordshire Council who didn't have the vision or the foresight.
  15. Twenty families, folks. Out of all those millions...we are offering safe haven to just a handful here in Hereford. Is it really too much to ask that we welcome them? Actually, don't bother responding. I've heard more than enough from most of you on this subject. None of it was pleasant.
  16. Shocking. Let's hope the police know far more than they are letting on. Strange. Very few comments here.... if the description included 'foreign accent', I'm sure there would be plenty by now.....
  17. Brilliant, Two Wheels! I like it. I like it very much! As a 'Plan B' it has much to offer.... But..... will Cllr. Price...? I doubt it. I doubt it very much...
  18. "The Great Tram Plan", as I like to refer to it, features in an online HT story today. Don't get too excited though folks, it's been deemed 'not efficient or sustainable' by the esteemed Cllr 'I don't give a sh#t ' Price. Cllr Bowen had asked in a formal, written question, if 'full and proper consideration had been given' to this idea, which he said 'had very large potential benefits'. Price though, had other ideas.... (Hereford Voice forum and members were also mentioned in the article.) Apologies as usual, for not being able to provide a handy link!
  19. Lovely to hear your thoughts, Solidus......but brace yourself for incoming.....I think you'll find our take on this will be very much a minority view on this forum!
  20. Fabulous comment from yokel yokel on this story. He explained - quite beautifully - the maths involved...... The huge difference in numbers??? Just one place. Yes folks, one. But I guess that wouldn't make such a great headline......!
  21. Well done, Nick! I'm pleased to see you get the recognition you deserve.
  22. Great news. A very positive step in the right direction. Encouraging to read that as a county, we are also to support unaccompanied children, as well as an initial twenty families. I look forward to welcoming our new residents.
  23. Great response from Jeremy..... "If most of us are ashamed of shabby clothes and shoddy furniture, let us be more ashamed of shabby ideas and shoddy philosophies. It would be a sad situation if the wrapper was better than the meat wrapped inside it." Albert Einstein. Spot on JC. Just don't expect Dave or his followers to appreciate your principles!
  24. So very, very sad. Heart-breaking for her family and friends. RIP. Julie.
  25. In Worcester a few years back, opposition councillors put forward a motion of no confidence if my memory serves me correctly.
