These people are really vulnerable and once again our Council are mis-directing these funds and have people who are not qualified Social workers carrying out the assessments! Do one of these people have to harm themselves or worse still kill themselves before Hereford Council take responsibility! Errrrr let me think? Yes of course they do!

The appointed auditors for Herefordshire Council are Grant Thornton UK LLP. The specific contact at GT is Phil Jones Email: phil.w.jones@uk.gt.com Tel: 0121 232 5232 He works for government he is not controlled by the Council and it's his job to make sure our money is being handled appropriately. If there's a company or indeed an officer from Herefordshire Council that will benefit from this collaboration, then that is not only immoral it's corrupt! My email will hit his account first thing Monday morning and I would urge anyone with any knowledge to do the same. You won't be identified and you could hold the one piece of information we need to stop them in their tracks!

Here we go again would be my thoughts. This happens on a monthly basis ... senior members of staff securing lucrative positions in companies the Council do work with! There needs to be a public enquiry at the very least the Audit Commission should step in. We are sitting on the edge of ruin and the madness needs to stop now before it's to late! I think everyone who has any knowledge of any wrong doing in relation to the mis-handling of Public Funds should contact the Audit Comissioner and voice their concerns. Cllr Kenyon it's your comment you put it in the public domain and you have a duty to your ward and the public to pass that information to the Auditors. You may think that information insignificant but what people fail to realise is that when all these pieces of information are put together they make a compelling case for an investigation.

Cllr Kenyon how exactly does this work for are the 10 signatories? Are you saying anyone can force a bit- election just by obtaining ten signatures? I'm confused... If that's the case why haven't we forced bi-elections in ever ward, where the ward is represented by a conservative?

Welcome to Hereford Voice Silent Bull, good to see you posting on here. You will find the administration on here a lot less controlling! It's also regularly viewed by our esteemed Councillors, so if you've got an opinion fill your boots!

This was previously the remit of the dog wardens but over the last few years the Council cut the wardens from three to one! As of Monday the 2nd December there will be no dog wardens at Herefordshire Council. So good luck trying to sort this out!

Ragwert, what would you suggest? Affordable housing? You can't just change the use of a retail premises it's not that simple and even if you could, I see no alternative use for these shops bearing in mind the location of some of them. I barely recognise high town as it is I certainly don't want it over run with foreign retailers, which looks likely. I forget I'm English some days. Don't get me wrong I admire a lot of these people coming over here to make a better life for themselves and I would never question their work ethic but I don't want Hereford town centre turning into the equivalent of little China town, simply for the fact of our heritage. High town is losing its Historical integrity and is looking less and less like the beautiful City it once was. I wish they'd poured everything into restoring it to its former glory instead of the monstrously ugly building they loving call the OLM! I envisage high town turning into a separate quarter full of foreign shops and outlets that drives away local people and segregates local communities.

That is so cool! The problem is you have short memories it didn't work before! In the mornings the only thing that allows traffic out of Belmont road is traffic heading off the bridge and up the Belmont Road otherwise the Ross Road takes precedence and traffic is too heavy in rush hour to keep Belmont Road flowing. Back in the 80s when I was taking the kids to school at Kingstone coming back traffic was backed up to the Clehonger turn! The Belmont Road junction and the Ross Road junction is too close together to work unless the traffic heading out of town increases. Not sure how you would pull that one off! I have been waiting with baited breath for a comment from a Councillor, thank you, Cllr Kenyon. If the leaders of IOC and the Independents have any morals or common sense they will echo your response to the Tory administration and publicly call for them to step down! Cllr Morgan if you are reading this and I hope you are, you are out of your depth so do the decent thing and go, we don't want or need you! If you want a hobby go join the circus with all the other clowns!

Are they allowed to redact individual names, if they are not companies? Herefordshire Council make payments to private individuals, for example, private taxi owners, out of hours dog wardens, the Kenned where dogs are taken. I could be totally wrong but I think this is done by other Councils as well, where names of individuals are redacted. There are huge sums of money being paid out so if that is the case there should be more information supplied, so the public don't get suspicious. If it's for an individual then it should st least say what it was for. A lot of these payments seem to list the cost centre as children's services so perhaps some of the payments are for foster carers who don't want to he identified? Of course I could be totally wrong but it's a thought.

Biomech will you please keep up! I think all major decisions should go to public consultation and decisions made based on the majority opinion. It should not be made by IOC, Independents or the Cons! I vote for them to make decisions based on public opinion not on party politics! Didn't I say that?
