I remember the German people clapping their hands when these refugees/migrants arrived at the train station, I bet they were not clapping at this train station last night. I fear more events in Germany are inevitable. The countries that said no and the countries that put up fences appear to be the safest in Europe, good on them for protecting and putting their citizens safety first.

I hate to say it but after tonights events in Germany it appears that your prediction was bang on.

Nobody want's to comment now   but I will. To me this was obvious from the start. All Angela Merkel has done is made the problem a lot worse. I read all sorts of stories about people burning their fingers to avoid finger their prints being taken, people destroying passports (they have found lots) to hide their identity, why would you do that unless you have something to hide. These people who have no papers should be refused entry into Europe, at least until they can prove who they are and where they are from. I cannot travel even within the EU without proving who I am, so for people coming from outside of the EU this is a no brainer. The real problems have not started yet but I feel that Germany in particular will be sorry in the coming months but certainly a major city within Europe, I may be and I hope I am wrong but time will tell.

Under the proceeds of crime act i cannot see why the property is not taken by the council and sold and the money from the sale split between the council and mortgage company. As it stands the sentence is a joke and insult to honest working people.

I cannot believe how pathetic the punishment handed out on this case is. They have made a complete mockery of the system and the judge has basically done the same in my view. ALL their benefits should be withdrawn immediately but I bet they are still claiming something and that money will go towards paying the £5 per week they have probably set up to pay the fines, so not only have they had £64k for FREE!!! They have also now been given the money for FREE to pay off the fine. This is so wrong on so many levels it is hard to comprehend.

Sorry but just turning off traffic lights on two roundabouts is just not good enough.

Ok, it's not the Police. Still don't understand how it's a scam - if they have a camera, how is it linked to the DVLC database and what are they issuing? Parking tickets on private land is one thing - this just seems plain criminal to me.

It is what the call a safety camera vehicle, camera is checking your speeds and if your over the speed limit you will receive a fine and points in the post. Big money making exercise imo too. All too easy to pick on the motorist

This sort of rubbish really annoys the hell out of me. We and I include Cllr Harvey should be PROUD of our nation not trying to hide it in fear of upsetting others, why would it upset anyone? And if it does then they clearly shouldn't be here in the first place!

Surely, they can see though this application? If they have this licence granted its a pisstake, I also thinks its a pisstake them applying in the first place.

That's fair enough but from a outsiders perspective it did seam as like he was caught in the headlights so to speak,not sure quite what to say. I've said this before but honestly this whole situation stinks.. Cameron has done well to dodge this toxic mess sadly. I'm sure IF we had a effective opposition to the tories in parliament then the outcome would have been far more favorable to us people who cant stand the tories

Well personally I can't stand our friend Comrade Corbyn, I think the man is a dinosaur and a dangerous one at that. 

The PM didn't run in like a bull in a china shop, he got all the information together and gave a sensible answer to all his critics, its easy to complain that it took 4 days but in my opinion he has responded correctly considering the false allegations.

Hmm part of me thinks this footballer is not all to blame, I might be wrong but something doesn't add up to me. The female teacher got off lightly though under similar circumstance, the is no consistency with the courts.

I knew that was coming, well I do hope the council and trading standards see through this and refuse any future applications.

The full licensing review hearing is to be held at 1100hrs on Tuesday 29 March. A decision should be made on the day.

I hope their licence is totally revoked.
