  1. The more I hear about the EU the more I realise how corrupt it all is. It is like a Mafia family, once your in your can't leave! I wonder how many of the remaining members can see what is going on here...
  2. Okay folks I have just had a discussion with Keith and we have agreed Sunday 19th November 0900-1400 for 'Phase 2'. We obviously need as much help again and we will see if we can encourage the scout/cubs etc to keep us refreshed with beverages again. The plan of actions is to clear some of the outstanding dead branches and bushes and to paint the fence! We will also continue to try and break the back of the duckweed and also erect two additional signs. I have got the funding for some Hammerite and I will make sure that we have a dozen of so paint brushes to make light work of the 75 metre length. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
  3. Prince William Visits Hereford Cathedral today, hence the large police presence in the city. THE Duke of Cambridge met SAS soldiers and veterans at a ceremony to dedicate a £1 million memorial to their regiment inside Hereford Cathedral today.

  7. It appears that stupidity on two wheels is not just limited to cyclists, taken yesterday afternoon at 3.37pm
  8. Oh no that is not good, hope your okay mate. I have some better news, Vets4Pets have agreed to sponsor another 2 signs for the pond, which is very generous of them.
  9. How about we have two people on the same bike on a footpath all at the same time Now there is a law that says motorists cannot even TOUCH their phones while driving, yet if you own a cycle it is quite alright to text while riding on a footpath it appears.
  10. How about riding a bike between pedestrians along Commercial Road footpath.
  11. We managed to grab another shot of hime riding with all of this stuff on his handle bars around the corner and trust me he continued to ride up right into Newtown Road
  12. Look at this caught yesterday morning, one chap riding into town on the footpath and another chaos riding on the WRONG side of the road coming towards us! We have to keep an eye out for idiots like this all the time. And as for this guy, I am surprised he could even ride his bike trying to balance all this stuff!
  13. Hi and welcome to Hereford Voice, yes this is a major problem that I have been highlighting in this topic. The police need to do more to prevent this happening instead of ignoring it.
  14. This is an absolute disgrace! We should proud of our historic medieval city walls, instead they have been left to decay and fall apart!
  15. Ragwert, I will move these images to the City Walls topic.
  16. Chadds closed down in June 2008. Chadds was founded in 1929 by William Chadd, the father of the current chairman John Chadd, when he and his future wife, Jessie Etheridge, opened a small drapery shop at 41 Commercial Street. This picture was taken in 1935.
  17. Well I have some good news :) I have managed to secure funding to buy some decent Hammerite paint for the fence and aerating pumps for the pond. I will have a chat with the other guys involved and we will agree another day here to finish off what we started.
  18. I took these photographs this evening and notice that all the signage has already been removed and windows blacked out.
  19. I prefer Costa or Coffee 1 anyway however, not good news to have yet another empty shop and more people out of work but I understand that their lease had come to an end hence the closure.
  20. I have learned today that if they remove the wording and just leave the cattle it is a mural and planning is not required.
  21. Really? This is a surprise especially as Costa appear to be opening more stores in Hereford
  22. I hope the Herdsman are going to appeal! I see the application came on behalf of ADMIRAL TAVERNS. I would like to support an appeal if one is put forward, the original planning application P172517/A can be found HERE
