  1. Nothing will be done, council are too soft, he should receive a summons in the post with photographs attached but I will be very suprised if they even call on him again. Load of old bull I think and that is why they do it, because they know hardly anything will be done about it! (slap on the wrist)
  2. Did you speak to the painters or their boss? because if it was the workers there is a good chance that they would not know.
  3. Have tey still not replied to you councillor? this was on the 8th it is now the 23rd
  4. Why do you have to accept this? can you not put more pressure upon them to get these stumps cut down on this visit once and for all? Because in the long run it will save us money and not use any of their budget next year. Otherwise, all that will happen is that they will end up coming out every year with the excuse that they don't have enough in their budget each time. Well done for getting this far but I think we could get this job completed this time around.
  5. Well that website is hardly used or updated as the last published minutes on that website are May. Could you send them to the administrator here so that he can publish them for us to read please. I think his email is admin@belmontvoice.co.uk
  6. No it was not done as you both originally asked was it! that is my point, the supervisor at the time insisted that they did not need cutting right down, because I remember there was also the issue of kids climbing on the stumps near to that awful fence, they also left sharp tools laying around at the time. So I am saying lets hope they do it as you have both requested this time, then there will be no need to come back (for the tree's) and they would not be going to work out the costs again.
  7. Did Colin and you not request this originally? this is good news but lets see what happens this time.
  8. Could you not email them to Colin for him to publish?
  9. No answer to your question yet Colin I see So do we have a cost or not?
  10. I am waiting to see what Cllr Powell has to say about this, I noticed that she was online reading this article but is yet to comment...
  11. Well well well...they are discussing points which have value, hardly the attitude to have when they are legitimate issues.(I fail to see where anyone has said you are wrong? I think you are taking this personally) I noticed that in response to a phone call that Colin James had with Justine Heath, she requested that members continue with debate in order for her to put a case together and she would continue to read what was being said from my understanding. The new system is not working from the evidence of the discussions thus far and pictures that have been submitted. The yellow box issue also has merit, so what's the problem Cllr? I thik that one of the problems here is that there is no consistency in what we are being told, it's ok to renew a yellow box, which we have told can only be placed when there are traffic lights, and in the case on walnut tree ave this is not the case and yes, once over painted, I am of the same opinion that they then take ownership of that, perhaps Amey would like to comment as I think by the sound of things, you are getting annoyed as your not hearing perhaps what you want to hear. :Thumbs-Down: in the beginning your were also not happy and you told us that the new keep clear signs were not laid as you requested; The goal posts keep moving! You had meetings with Amey and discussed all of this, they also sent correspondance out prior to doing the work, so to be fair you should of been well aware of exactly what was going to be done and also the restrictions and guidlines that Amey have to work within. There just seems to be one rule for them and another for the constiuents, the mere fact that the yellow box in walnut tree ave has been there for a while has nothing to do with it and certainly does nt make it right! I am sure that the same will apply when they renew the line painting on the sign in Barton Road too. It seems to me that all that is being requested here is some clear clarification, is that too much to ask for?
  12. Once Amey re-paint I assume that they take over the responsibility and adopt and have to adhere to the guidelines hat they refer too further back in this topic. This should of been corrected at that time, which obviously is not the case, good argument here I think.
  13. This is always the case. These lights are out of sequence, priority is completely wrong, anyone who lives local and uses this road daily can see that, so why on earth can't the local council see it and do something about it?
  14. Well again an unbielable response, that are not adequate, because as soon as any car tries to edge it's way out from that junction when there is a queue of traffic (everyday) hey will be covering the little sign, they just do not want to do it again and admit that they are wrong. Have a look at this picture taken in London, this is how it should be and they know it! I can show them plenty of other examples from around the country. The KEEP CLEAR sign should be in the centre of the carriageway, the way they have done it, looks far too small for a start and is restrcited to the inside lane, when clearly traffic approaching the roundabout is in the middle of the carriageway as you can see from the other pictures provided by Colin James. Have a look at the vehicle in this picture. When there is a huge queue, do you think this vehicle would keep the exits clear looking at this picture? NO is the obvious answer. This needs rectifying, residents are not happy and at the end of the day, Amey are contracted by the council who in turn are elected by us, this work has not been carried out as was requested and as it stands it's useless. I am that annoyed that unless something sensible is done, I will be writing to the Hereford Times because this is just pathetic!
  15. They must of thought that we all drives cars like Mr Magoo, like the one in the 2nd picture ha ha
  16. What a waste of money, why on earth could they not get it right the first time? Amey should look at this website to see some of the comments made and also the pictures that Colin James has provided, especially the last one, then at least they might get it right. Thank you for your efforts Councilor
  17. This has made my day ha ha utterly useless, like that will work
  18. I find this whole subject annoying, of course you should be able to photograph and video your children, especially on precious days, like sports day and when they are performing, to deny this is absurd! Makes me laugh, every week LIVE on national television you see footballers walking onto the pitch holding hands with young kids in their football kit for the whole country to see as well as 70,000 spectators, yet you cannot photograph your own kids at your local school, with maybe 100 people present, this is absolutely ridiculous and beyond belief in my opinion. All signed!

  20. This is a great centre and needs to remain open.
