Herefordshire Council Confirms top appointments

I should go on to add that I have always been confused as to why many choose a career in nursing when the academic requirements are not that far off medicine so why not train to be a medic where there are better salary expectations. Care of patients crosses all boundaries in healthcare it's just a question of where you prefer to be. The agency dilemma has been a thorn in the side of healthcare for over thirty years in fact Operating Department Assistants were running high agency rates well before the nursing profession caught on. Sadly it's down to the strength of the Royal College of Nursing to make its case to the Health Secretary and until then the Agency bill for all NHS Staff will continue to rise as will our requirement to recruit nurses from overseas healthcare organizations depleting them of valuable resources. -
Herefordshire Council Confirms top appointments

I think I did say all the guises Dazza and in fact Herefordshire is one of the cheaper places to live and rent...at the moment!! The salary of the Nurse,ODP and Paramedic has always been a bone of contention and let's be honest it's something most of us as students are made aware of when we joined the profession. -
Well in all reality it's a poison challice Glenda. The council needs to shave off some of the £200 million debt and that's only going to come from three sources, houses, council tax increases and the selling of assetts unless you know different. On top of this there will be demands from central government which this council will struggle to administer meanwhile from the health and social care budgets there's nothing but trouble brewing. Keep supporting the locals Glenda they are going to need you and if you need help just say!

It's not for this topic but having just seen the size of the deficit within the NHS for 2014/15 not far off £1 billion pounds and with another £20 billion,s worth of cuts yet to be found this extra money promised is just a pipe dream! This year 2015/16 is going to be worse. Guess where most of this money is being spent...on agency healthcare support in all its guises. This also will have a major impact on local healthcare provision and a big headache for the health and well-being crew sitting on said fare council. -
What's your honest view Glenda?
-
There is a lesson here for all those who could not sit around a table and talk. The IOC have been punished so we now have too ride out the storm. The Old Conservative guard have strengthened their position.

I knew a man once a humble man with a georgous wife and a young disabled daughter. His wife got bored of humble Joe his measily council salary didn't cut it with the wife that wanted more.So she moved on with new flesh and humble Joe had to leave. He loved his daughter cared for her understood her . He was devastated but he had to move out but the beauty was not finished there oh no she wanted him gone and the only way was to utter those inflammatory words cheap for some but effective to the core as any good family solicitor knows. It was a throw away comment later retracted but by this time humble Joe was in a car with misty Windows somewhere down the west country. She was his life, she could not speak up for him and then he was gone. A disabled person who was abused but not by humble Joe...does this sound familiar Paul.
-
Paul may have performed great deeds on behalf of disabled people but that does not give him the right to call strangers unbeknown to him Tory Scum. I guess that as I was not on the list I,m included with said blue club. Your response to the thread regarding paedophilia I will respond to later however it is worth mentioning here that if people generally were not so quick to make allegations regarding such heinous crimes the police, social services, healthcare workers even family welfare courts would not be currently run ragged and actually able to focus on those individuals who seriously pose a threat to children and vulnerable adults something I would have thought was close to your cause Paul... After all Jimmy Saville did a huge amount of good but it masked an evil side but I won't judge you Wirral because I don't know you so please don't judge me unless what you have to say has substance and not the rant of a wounded animal trapped in the Tory headlights.

Hope I'm not screwing things up guys..I was talking about t h e Saxon Gate seat which will not be re run for the County council.
-
Well that would have depended on whether.."lessons had been learnt" So now they have time to get better organised. Good afternoon to you AV.
-
If my memory serves me right there was a 19 vote differential between the Cons and IOC in the County fight. Now of course should a rerun had taken place and learnt lessons noted the Independent candidate might have decided to withdraw possibly resulting in a different outcome. ..bother I'm setting up another CONSPiracy theory so await a firm rebuke from AV.
-
so if there was anymore incentive to get this right next time the proof lies here..incredible.
-
Sorry Roger..disgruntled Southampton supporter hoping for better end of season spot!
-
To be honest he would not known about such goings on in Westminster..wasn't there often enough.
-
Local paedophile ring??
-
Well I've missed this ...I was not aware of one paedophile ring let alone others.
-
True Ragwert...he is still an MP after all..
-
Once GK , I managed it just once.

....you hit him or hitman perhaps one of the same?? Glenda of course it's up to you but you obviously care very much about the people on Newton Farm. It was good for them and I'm sure it was good for you. Colin is right, without the constraints you can continue in a politically correct way of course! Make him work for the role, make sure he gets every electorate niggle or complaint. If he doesn't comply or respond go around him,go through him until within twelve months he,'ll be wishing he was widow swanky once again. The robes of office are more colourful for the vain and insecure however the combat jacket of Newton Farm can only be worn by a true electorate soldier and guess what...he ain't one of them! Good Luck Glenda...Perhaps in twelve months.
-
Perhaps Roger killing to birds with one stone ....today getting together with some mates on Whitehall for a coffee and a chat and tomorrow the Chelsea v Liverpool game. Here we go the ,70's all over..go on Ubique you might get your ruck after all!!
-
Don't worry Denise he's probably having an early night possibly off to London Town tomorrow...look out for him shopping on the Kings Road

There's a fair few developers in the Freedom Church or am I being controversial. As Glenda said sold off cheaply but even 8 dwellings could easily go for 500k and I'm being Conservative!(Not really me)
