  1. Good point Denise & if so will those elections be held at the same time as thE GE?
  2. This is a interesting development I think he has got every chance of pushing the norm to the wire…my only reservation is as a independent he may be up against it in parliament if he does get in? So he could turnout to be a cuckoo in the nest & join the conservatives at a later date?

unfortunately megilleland while the Queen who resides at No10 is strategizing to fight on two battle fronts firstly with the little business of a general election before the big battle of Brexit…for far to long now her barons have been running amok in there fiefdoms with little or no sight in end! Depressing!!!
  4. Non stick bill was among 5 candidates during final selection…if they went with non stick bill then that does not say much for the other 4…are they also passengers riding on the gravy train of dubious character's?!
  5. Personally I can't see JK winning if he was to stand he would more than likely do well in getting plenty of votes in the city but it's the vote outside of Hereford he might struggle with? Also what is the mandate he will pitch in order to get the vote?
  6. Will be interesting to see how this plays out given that people who voted either leave or remain came from different voting backgrounds so for example someone who is traditionally a labour voter but may have vote leave…will they vote labour? The same as if you may be a Tory voter who voted to remain will they still vote Tory?
  7. I hear what your saying brother & agree with all you say but the question we should be asking ourselves is how can we change the status quo with these out of control local authorities? Because until we find the answer to reigning them in…then I'm afraid they will continue in this manner of behaving with utter contempt for those they are supposed to serve & that's us the people!
  8. Because it's propaganda bobby you see the HT is very anti Brexit they don't want it to happen it's all about winning hearts & minds if you voted Brexit you must be a nasty person look at these remarks from other Brexiteers!…the truth is there is unfortunately a side to Brexit that those who have racial issues voted along those lines…it's a case of for the greater good you've had to do a kind of deal with the devil as unsavoury as that sounds it happened…personally I like to view them as uneducated the sad thing thou is like pork it is very hard to educate in fact near impossible!
  9. Yes well they have tried to cover their backs because I know why they pulled it originally that's because they re-edited it laying blame at the it unit in Worcester if they cannot guarantee the polls are reliable then why both doing them?!
  10. Yes even our own local newspaper is not immune to contracting the fake news virus by publishing a false & wrongful result of its online poll about the EU referendum. Midway through they switched the vote as Bobby rightly says from going in favour of people saying they would still vote to leave to going in favour of people would now vote to remain?! It then also stopped working When I question this yesterday after they published the result it was then pulled but reinstated this afternoon?! No wonder our local politicians go around pleasing themselves when the best our local rag can do is try falsifying results of its online poll there is no chance of them doing any real journalism! They can't even be bother to respond when they are called out on anything either?!
  11. I wasn't talking about deporting them I'm saying if they want to go join Isis let them then if they try to return here then refuse them entry that is if they have not been killed! According to the article not all have joined some have tried but failed in there quest to join isis & are now banged up in our prisons mixing with other jihadist getting more radicalised & given the state of our prison service that is not good. It also states that Germany is deporting those who are a threat back to there parents country of origin. Obviously there is not a issue with deportation if the attackers are dead like the murder yesterday!
  12. Maybe a way of combating these home grown jihadist is to let those who want to go fight for the likes of Isis do so? Then those who wish to do so, because they have been that radicalised should have their citizenship revoke, all there finger prints, mugshot & DNA taken so as to make it extremely difficult for them to return to the UK? Secondly they may just get themselves killed in the process? Where homegrown terrorism is concerned, there's something to be said for letting British jihadis go to Syria - The Independent https://apple.news/ASlf8bE7_TICP2s8iJk60LA
  13. I guess you could say I've gone off topic Dennis sorry…I can't understand how MPs can concentrate on their constituents & do a ministerial job at the same time? It would seem that JN is struggling on this?…if he's not careful he will earn himself the nickname of "where's wally"!
  14. I don't disbelieve you for a second when you say they have foiled 12-13 terror plots but it's also reassuring to know that our police force is doing its job & doing it well in preventing these plots from becoming a daily occurrence thankfully. I'm also under no illusions that they can prevent all of the plots from ever happening too.
  15. Well that's fair enough Colin maybe your getting old? but for me at the moment it's a no I'm just don't feel it's warranted at this moment in time…if we where getting them on a daily or weekly basis then I may change my opinion.
  16. Poss but we will never know that for sure…in Israel they are armed but it does not stop them from getting killed or seriously injured & they deal with this on a daily basis we don't. Take a look at this attack for example…warning thou it contains violent scenes http://m.jpost.com/#/app/article/422689
  17. I don't disagree that all police should know how to handle a firearm but I really don't think in this country we live in such a dangerous society that it warrants every police officer to be armed!
  18. That's what makes us great the need not to arm all our police officers unlike the rest of Europe…however I do respect your opinion…but I don't feel that endangered by the terrorist threat! yes it could happen, but I take my life in my own hands everyday driving on the A49!… I'd rather something was done about that than a greater need to arm the police personally!
  19. "This significant building programme will not only help create a modern prison estate where wholesale reform can truly take root but will also provide a thriving, economic lifeline for the local community - creating hundreds of jobs for local people and maximising opportunities for businesses." Nice to see that they will turn a coin for locking people up although I think if you are looking to making money from incarcerating then not to far behind you will find his mates corruption & abuse! Was there a cryptic message predicting today's events posted yesterday on 4chan? Chilling 4chan post written day before London terror attack appears to predict incident - The Independent https://apple.news/A2kmWPj84TNy39PlPP2wA1A
  20. Yea he's a mate of that a Anjem Choudary & no hands Hamza from Finsbury Park mosque. i'm not for all police to be armed I think it's a bit of a knee jerk reaction to what has happened today although Westminster has more armed police than anywhere else in London which I suspect that this idiot was fully aware of that but it did not put him off! Armed police did not help those on the bridge either in fact somebody driving a vehicle into a crowd of people is a difficult situation to deal with because your not likely to know they are going to do it until they have done it…as has been proven in nice & Berlin the same as if it is a bomb a policeman with a gun is not going to stop that either intelligence is the key weapon in the prevention of attacks!
  21. Tree protesters taking police to court for wrongful arrest Sheffield tree protesters to take legal action against police - the guardian https://apple.news/ANgOVgV9DQ96v6j6AQ1aPMA
  22. The question is how do we stop this association with local authorities setting up these arms length private companies? Personally I think we the people have to fight back I believe there are 2 options open to us first we should withhold paying council tax I'm not talk about not paying but if a sizeable amount of people actually withheld the money by putting it aside to be payed at a later date as a protest to the way in which our money is spent? Then I think we the people can affect real change in the way our local authorities operate & behave it also makes them more accountable to us? Secondly we should refuse to cooperate/recognise with these arms length companies such as hoople as I did yesterday where I told hoopla I will not deal with them on a issue of council tax collection I have with them due to the fact that I disagree with there involment within Herefordshire council due to them being a private entity! But these measure will only work if we the public act in unity. It's also interesting to note that those who now work for hoople where once employed directly to the council.
  23. Yep partly it's supposed to but at lest with this subsidy they will be able to maintain them the rest will be spent on consultation firms in the forming of the cultural branding strategy?! But what I find intriguing is all this money available through these different enterprises but yet local authorities are being told to cut back on their spending? It's also interesting to note there is no no money on offer for adult care, children's services & yet these are the services worst effect by cut backs!! I wonder why that could be? Possibly because they are not profitable??!!
  24. A guy called Jim Rickards is saying they what to chip our money too?!…it's all about control or another form of slavery whichever way you look at it it's not good! https://pro.agora.co.uk/p/SIN51/ESINT327/?
