  1. I came across this blog by chance it was a very interesting read Fox cub cruelty.exposing corruption by police & CPS I believe the author is a serving officer with WMP? https://foxcubscruelty.com/blog-feed/
  2. When we campaigned to save the old boy’s school in Bath street one of the reasons stipulated by HWFRS was that they need to be within 2 minutes of the city centre...so if indeed they do relocate behind B&Q surely it will take longer than 2 minutes to reach the city centre from that point? Not that I have any objection to them relocating behind B&Q it’s more the fact that they lied to try to justify their reasons for moving to the old boy’s school location at the time thankfully they saw sense & pull the PA in the end.
  3. I used to play football for painters & that was our home pitch it had a slight slop on it from one goal to the other...if we won the toss we always choose to kick up the slop in the first half.
  4. Ok so your not against a river crossing going from Beattie Avenue & linking up with Wordsworth road? as for a river crossing taking HGV’s that could be done on the east connecting Rotherwas with the Worcester road? the total distance for this two river crossing would be about 6.32 km which is half of the distance of the western bypass route obviously this is all hypothetical but if the western bypass is cancelled then the need is to look at alternatives river crossings?
  5. Will they won’t they lay the tarmac down for the new bypass? if indeed it does get binned it still does not get away from the fact that Hereford needs at lest one new river crossing either east or west or both. I’m not sure if this idea has been mooted before? But as an alternative river crossing point on the west side if the western bypass is rejected? I believe that it would be possible to put a bridge with weight limits on & cycle lanes from the bottom of Beattie avenue To link up with Wordsworth road? a number of benefits would be a direct road link with Whitecross & Belmont the road would be a lot shorter in distance saving on cost compared to the western bypass...less loss of good agricultural land very few if any trees would have to be felled...so in all compared to the western bypass the detrimental impact to the landscape would far less.
  6. Brexit is finished? Personally I don’t think so the reason I believe this is because of the bible believe it or not...so i’m going to attempt to show you some evidence to support that claim & why I believe It is certain to happen ...then you can make up your own minds to whether or not you agree? how many of you have heard of Tarshish? it is mentioned over 20 in the bible it relates to a nation & that nation I believe is Britain if that is the case? Then it is undoubtedly assured that Britain will have a political separation from EU Europe given that the bible is 2/3 prophecy Tarshish was also a source of tin a rare commodity although in ancient times a very sought after commodity as when you mix tin with copper you get bronze. so is Britain Tarshish? You decide https://youtu.be/OvEP_EFTsWA https://www.timesofisrael.com/groundbreaking-study-ancient-tin-ingots-found-in-israel-were-mined-in-england/amp/
  7. Nothing really but if the candidates mindset is for remaining in the EU then I just don’t feel that I can vote for them.As silly as that might sound to you Tom it all boils down to my lost faith/trust in politicians after witnessing the last six months of the Brexit debacle. but having looked at the candidates I don’t believe that the con trickster has a cat in hells chance of getting in...my money would be on Sharon Michael as she is the standing being run closely by Diane Toynbee with the Lib Dem,Stephen Williams as a dark horse possible? if I do change my mind then I guess I will vote for Sharon Michael
  8. Had leaflets from only two candidates so far Diane Toynbee & Sharon Michael as it stands I will not be voting as I can’t vote for no con tricksters,Lib Dem’s I will not even entertain them, the greens are a anti Brexit party so they too have got no chance of gaining my vote,Sharon Michael ind not sure of her Brexit stance? as I could not be bothered to even read her leaflet...as the way I feel about politicians at present is not printable!
  9. Diane Toynbee & Nigel Ely are two names I recognise who are both standing in the locals & EU..so what will they do if elected locally then the EU elections are held they both get elected for that? havent checked though to see if anybody else is standing in both.
  10. Roger you are not alone in not voting in EU elections the turnout is traditionally low...in the UK the lowest turnout was 24% in 1999 in the last one in 2014 it was 35.60% which given the turnout for the referendum of 72.2% so say for argument sake that of the 48.1% who voted to remain there must be at least 12.5% of those remain voters who did not take part in the last EU elections? Which I find incredible that people who what to stay in are kicking up a fuss about a second referendum when they can’t even be both to vote in EU elections! http://www.ukpolitical.info/european-parliament-election-turnout.htm
  11. & who will you vote for if they do not have a representative standing?....do you think whoever is standing that they will knock on your door Roger or even campaign in this area given that they will be hoping to become one of 7 mep’s representing the West Midlands which is the region Herefordshire comes under. out of the 7 one comes from Herefordshire I can’t say I know anything of this person I’ve never seen them, spoken with neither can I ever recall them writing in the HT or even heard them speak on one of the local radio stations? heres a link listing the others who I’ve also never heard anything about? http://www.europarl.europa.eu/unitedkingdom/en/your-meps/uk_meps/west_midlands_region.html
  12. What was agreed? ■ A Brexit extension "only as long as necessary" and "no longer than 31 October" to allow for the ratification of the withdrawal agreement ■ The UK "must hold the elections to the European Parliament" and if it fails to do this, the UK will leave on 1 June ■ The European Council reiterates there can be no reopening of the withdrawal agreement negotiations Read the EU's conclusions here. so if we fail to hold EU elections we must leave on June 1st....we the people should attempt to sabotage the elections by peaceful means in order to make sure these elections do not go ahead as it is a complete waste of time & money in my opinion.
  13. I’d like to wish Amanda Martin & John Harrington all the best as I hope both can get elected as I feel they both will do a good job even though they are not in the same party.
  14. First point I respect your opinion however that does not mean I have to accept your argument as I do not & I would suspect you do not accept my side of the argument either? yes it is as anyone of voting age has the opportunity & right to do so except those I believe that are incarcerated? So those that decided not to vote for whatever reason should have no complaints at the outcome of any election or referendum as they unlike yourself did not take up there right to exercise that vote but you in doing so you should except the result regardless as you where happy enough to take part in the referendum. you say you except the system but yet you do not accept the result? So why take part in voting if your not willing to accept the outcome or is it just when it’s not to your liking? i did say that & the proof I have is every time one of them opens their mouth a lie pops out you even said it yourself that both sides lied during the referendum campaign where they not mostly all politicians? well more fool Cameron then isn’t it for calling it in the first place regardless of his reasoning but he did call for it & you willing like many others took part in it with no complaints at the time from yourself or anyone else for that matter I suspect? happily in the knowledge no doubt that it would be a landslide for the remain camp but shock of horrors the British people turned round & stuck two fingers up to all the arrogant remainer’s & the EU who all thought they’d never lose the vote...but they did & that’s democracy whether you like it or not? if they are called I will try to organise protests outside polling stations but if you wish to exercise your right to vote then that is your free choice to which you have ever right to do so as I do too have the right to peaceful protest against. again your 100 people in a room argument is floored as those 100 people in a room who do not exercise their free right to cast a vote that is there own fault so should have no complaints at the outcome neither those who voted against the result either as it just shows that they where unable to garner enough votes to swing the outcome in their favour.
  15. Do you use the same formula for general & local elections? Because it is pretty floored in my opinion....Also did you vote during the referendum? No the Brexit situation has come about because people on the remain side along with those remain MP’s have refused to except the result...you saying you don’t respect the vote because both sides lied is a very weak argument as all politicians are known liars & do so when there are votes at stake in any election...which I’m sure you are fully aware of?...unless of course you are saying that it came as a complete surprise to you that politicians are able to lie at all??
  16. Well the Westminster gangsters are doing all they can to prevent us leaving so a no show at the EU ballot boxes with protesters outside would send a clear message to them that we want out in my opinion
  17. Yes megilleland I agree but I feel it is pointless voting in EU elections given we are supposed to be leaving?
  18. That is your right but given you are a remainer I’m not surprised that you will vote in the EU elections I however will not because I do not recognise the legitimacy of it the EU that is given we should of left on March the 29th but far from stopping anybody physically from voting im suggesting a peaceful protest against voting so please do not try to insinuate that I am suggesting to forcibly stop you or anybody else for that matter from voting as I am not but I do feel it is a waste of time voting in that particular election.
  19. If the PM IS GRANTED A EXTENSION to leaving the EU then the UK will more than likely have to take part in EU elections...but I would urge folks in the UK not to take part in but rather boycotting with the setting up of picket lines to peaceful encourage people not to take part in them so as not to give them legitimacy so as to send a clear message to our corrupt politicians & the EU itself that we have had enough of there shenanigans in trying to keep us in the unholy union which is contrary to the referendum vote in 2016 But the big question is would people actually take part or just act like sheep in excepting their fate?
  20. Thanks SOG it was...she’s gone up in my estimations that’s for sure...never expected a reply let alone a polite one! Who is her pugnacious husband?
  21. I wanted to ask your views on the next steps on Brexit as I think we need some calm common sense to get this right. For the last two years, I’ve called on everyone to come together to make Brexit work. I voted to trigger Article 50, called for a cross party commission to oversee the negotiations, put forward Brexit proposals on security cooperation and immigration reform, and argued for a customs union deal to support Yorkshire manufacturing. I’ve also conducted local surveys and meetings. I want the Government to get a Brexit deal that works for Yorkshire, and supports jobs and workers rights. But I am worried now about two things. First, I am concerned that the Government has made such a mess of things, we still don’t know what kind of Brexit we are going to get even though there are only five weeks to go. That’s not enough time to plan anything. I think some big decisions are needed in the next two weeks about what kind of Brexit we should have, but I want to know what you think. Second, I am worried that if the Government keeps dithering we will end up with No Deal by accident, even though no one is prepared for it, and it would mean putting up WTO tariffs on food. Pontefract GPs have told me that 40% of our medicines come from Europe and stockpiling has already put prices up. West Yorkshire Police have told me they will lose access to crucial Europe wide criminal databases they use to catch criminals. Local employers and trades unions including Burberry and Haribo have told me they will be hit by border delays. That is why I put forward a common sense proposal that says the Government needs to get it sorted by the middle of March but if they haven’t the Prime Minister needs to say whether she wants No Deal or to extend the Article 50 period to get a deal a deal In place, and then Parliament should vote on it. My Bill doesn’t block Brexit, revoke Article 50 or change the referendum result, all it does is stop the Prime Minister leaving everything till the last minute and forces her to be honest with people about whether they need a bit more time to make things work and avoid the chaos. But I’d like to know your views. Everyone is shouting at each other over Brexit at the moment and it’s becoming a real mess. That’s why I think we need some calm, Yorkshire common sense, and for everyone to pull together to sort it out. Share your views through my Brexit Survey: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1I4h-XWrj6D_1mNF7cjftPVKAz2W01cNM14jVRvZmIXM/ Best wishes, Yvette Cooper MP
  22. My email in full You have no right to try to overturn Brexit as the people in your constitution that you are supposedly representing voted in a majority to leave...as in many other areas throughout the country too where the sitting MP’s who are remainer’s are doing likewise as there actions do not represent the view of the majority of those constituents of theirs who voted to leave...that is not democracy...so I believe that there’s & your actions since the vote to leave cumulating now in your desire to present this ludicrous bill in which you intend on putting before parliament tomorrow to be an unholy non democratic action which in my opinion is in contempt of those you supposedly represent..what you are trying to do is akin to slapping those very same people in the face..shame on you! so I implore you that you should desist from your intended action in parliament tomorrow in presenting this ludicrous bill of yours which would have you change the course of the democratic vote to leave the EU in doing so you will be doing irreversible damage to the democratic process in the eyes of the people of this country again it will be to your shame & detriment if you do not desist from your actions!
  23. A little while back I decide to email a number of MP’s about my concerning regarding their behaviour towards Brexit...so today I revived my first & only response so far from Yvette Cooper which I have to admit my surprise at. she was asking in the email if I would take part in a survey regarding Brexit with a link to said survey....below is a copy of my email to Yvette & her response to said email also with the link for anyone wanting to take part in her survey
  24. You just know that there is something just not right going on with the awarding of these contracts?…but unless you are in on the inner circle, proving it is near impossible!…that is why you hope that the councillor we elect would say “hang on a minute” & bring it into question?!…but no nothing as I guess it is one of those perfunctory attitudes so ingrained in council culture that no one ever bats a eyelid?!
