You're slightly missing my point, Alex. It's not banning them from ever having a license again but (a) curtailing them from being a shopkeeper in Hereford and (b) restricting the business use of that premises, in future.
But what if they sell up and someone else moves into those premises, they will not be able to trade?

Committee decision today - Supersams and Mila shops licence REVOKED
They should ban the business from EVER having another licence again.

Murderer is still at large and could even be out of Germany by now and ANYWHERE within Europe.

Does anyone know when this hotel closed?
This could be an ideal solution for the school.

Oh yes please!!! 24 hours access is available in many cities nowadays and would be just perfect for me and my work colleagues who work shifts. I hope this opens, no contracts either!

This list is getting longer and longer, well done.
Colin, is is possible to have this list displayed in a boxes on the side of the forums?

I think it is a good idea to use the otherwise vacant upper floors for flats in the city centre. In this case a retail unit will be kept albeit with a reduced space. Perhaps useful for a start up business? Already in Eign Gate there are a number of upper floors which are flats
Upper floors yes but this application is for change of use from retail to residential to include the ground floor

Unfortunately we see this happening more and more, I sincerely hope that the planners object to this change of use.

Very clever

There may be a market for designer clothes, however, us mere mortals that survive on "below national average" wages/part time etc can't realistically afford to shop in these type of places. Maybe it will become the fashion outlet of choice for our esteemed councillors with their expense accounts and 50k+ a year salaries.
Have a look at the prices www.flannels.com/men/clothing/jackets-and-coats and you will see what I mean - no way in hell would I pay £45 for a pullover/sweatshirt!
That is you! But I would pay these prices and often I do especially if it is a particular brand like Stone Island. You only get what you pay for, it is not for everyone I understand but I think you would be surprised at how many people will buy branded products regardless of price. I look forward to this new shop coming to Hereford.

Good Morning
I am also a Trustee of South Wye Community Centre as well as the County Councillor for Belmont Rural. I believe all of the Trustees and Volunteers are committed to obtaining funds to keep the library open.
We are planning to approach Belmont Rural Parish Council and Hereford City council for grants, which we hope will be granted to cover the next three years rental costs. This would mean that we can work on our plans to develop the Centre into a centre of Well Being and it will also give local residents peace of mind that the library will be open for at least another three years.
At the moment every year we are in the situation where we keep having to approach Parish Council for additional funding to cover the rent. We would like them to agree a three year funding plan so we can concentrate on improving the services we currently offer. Herefordshire Council would also assist with a one off payment of 5k which would help us to buy new book shelves, which are on wheels, replace the desk, seating etc. South Wye Community Association would then be able to rent the room outside of library hours to other user groups, as the bookshelves could be moved.
H Wilson, at the moment the Council pay for the staffing costs plus some of the rental, the rest was made up of grants from Belmont Rural and Hereford City. As Herefordshire Council will no longer be able to pay for any of the rent, we will approach both Parish Councils to see if they can cover all of the rental costs.
Herefordshire Council will pay for 22.5 hours worth of professional staff. At the moment we are operating for extended hours as the main library is closed. Under the new plan we would need to find volunteers to help with the additional hours if we wish to retain the extended opening times.
Thank you for the info Cllr. The community centre offers a much used meeting place for many local people as well as the library facility, I do hope that you manage to obtain the additional grants required to keep the centre providing these for the next 3 years.

40,000 visitors it is a no brainer. The Council should pay for room hire the same as anyone else.

Indeed Probably using a GoPro.
Fractured a few laws too.......tsk tsk.
Got to be done tho. He's above the river so that's a bonus.
You can see why it's tempting on your own at these prices http://www.eurousc.com/media/1291/fees-terms-conditions-uk-issue-40-apr-2016.pdf
What does the law say DILLIGAF? Drone too close to traffic I suspect? (wicked photograph's though)

I agree, it does look like a combination of 70's multi storey car park and shipping containers, however, we do need to move with the times as well. A lot of the design influence for this will be because of new planning regulations regarding insulation and materials, as well as a desire for the new occupiers to make sure that the new house is eco friendly from a light/heat/power point of view.
So, on one hand it's a carbuncle and a blot on the landscape not in keeping with it's surroundings - but on the other hand, it's a modern, 21st century residence which ticks all the boxes for modern sustainable living.
Yes it is about time we started seeing some nice modern homes instead of the dark B&W & drab victorian ones, why do people want to keep some of the older more run down buildings? This is half the reason why there are so many empty shops in Hereford! Most are either old & damp & in need of a lot of money spending on them or they are listed, new is much more attractive for businesses & I know if I was opening a business which I would go for!
Another reason that fire damaged mess in high town is still there, how many years have passed now? They should of demolished the lot in the first place & built new shops with apartments above which I believe is now on the cards.

So what happens when all this rubbish is blown across onto the road? Unbelievable to think so called adults can behave like this, they should be ashamed of themselves.

Hello Tracey, I noticed that the trees coming down Abbots Mead Road are all overgrown and stopping the light from the LED street lights getting through, especially near the bus shelter.

Happy days, in fairness it is probably due a refurb now but it is good to see money is being re-invested, looking forward to the new look.

Well done Cllr Bowes

Well to be fair the original pub was there long before the lads club. I personally like the idea of a new pub for Hereford.
I am in favour of a new pub too, this would make a real change to having pubs closing down. Funny though, as soon as a pub closure is announced 90% of people will say "oh no this is such a shame" yet now plans have been submitted for a new build pub we are not hearing those same cries.

Why are they so reluctant to use this money? All very strange
Because they think it is theirs!
What is the point of having a precept if you are not going to spend it? Can we lodge a complaint to the HC about this? I mean is this being monitored by anyone independent of the BRPC?
There are many things this money could be used for, cutting the grass around Belmont for a start and sorting out the overgrown trees, bushes and weeds. Belmont is far bigger than just the Jubilee fields! I was reading through the various meeting minutes, I understand that the BRPC are going to buy a sit on mower, well I have to ask, how long does this take for goodness sakes? This was proposed earlier in the year, we are now coming to the end of the summer and almost into Autumn. Surely they just need obtain a few quotes and make a decision yes?

When I walked home this afternoon I could only see one chap and he was sat in the van smoking.

This is what happens when Blair and Bush tell lies the west has intervened into affairs that do not concern them apart from financial gain to the few.Do not forget ISIS the ringleaders are mercenaries paid to do what they do.Who paid them and armed them british and U.S .And now that Turkey has started to do what it had been planning for some time it is heads up to the world. As soon as Turkey stops Russia using it's ocean then all hell will break loose.
No this is what happens when idiots like Angela Merkel let into Europe over a million apparent refugees/economic migrants with hardly or no checks and applauding them at the train station. I don't see this happening in Czech, Hungary, Poland and all the other countries who refused to take them, do you?

Axe-Wielding Attacker Injures Four On Train
The attacker has been identified as a 17-year-old refugee from Afghanistan, Bavaria's interior minister tells German media. The attack took place between Ochsenfurt and Wuerzburg-Heidingsfeld train stations in Bavaria at around 21.15 local time. The train was brought to a halt during the attack when one passenger pulled the emergency break, according to Bavarian radio station BR.The attacker was then shot dead by police as he tried to flee the scene, Mr Hench confirmed. The police spokesman declined to comment on media reports that the man attempted to attack police officers before he was shot.I remember the German people clapping their hands when these refugees/migrants arrived at the train station, I bet they were not clapping at this train station last night. I fear more events in Germany are inevitable. The countries that said no and the countries that put up fences appear to be the safest in Europe, good on them for protecting and putting their citizens safety first.
Again!! Another terrorist attack in Germany
