Tommy Agombar taunts a Hereford United supporter via voicemail by saying, 'We've got your club, you've got nothing'.

Also in the background a voice that appears to be that of Hereford United chairman Andrew Lonsdale says that they plan to build a casino on the Edgar Street ground. Here is the link to the article and the recording.

I didn't think Hereford United were speaking to the media at the moment but BBC Hereford + Worcester have used their Twitter account to advertise that the Club will be issuing a response to the audio clip on the Andrew Easton Show after 5PM today ...

In an earlier tweet the station provided a link to the recording which was described as 'fake'. So I assume that's the way the response will be heading ...

Once again HUFC has found it's way into the national press.  Good article in the Independent

My story about the boycott of Hereford United FC: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/news-and-comment/fans-look-away-as-hereford-teeter-on-edge-of-the-abyss-as-fans-organise-boycott-9891872.html â€¦

HC should be ashamed of themselves for not putting a stop to all this bad press a long time ago and even more ashamed that they are dealing with people of this caliber

Fans also found out that Agombar asked Herefordshire Council to transfer leases allowing the development of areas around the stadium to a company under his ownership. They feared he was more interested in developing the site than the club, an accusation Agombar and Lonsdale deny but which grew with the appointment of directors with interests in waste management and the construction industry. One, Philip Peter Gambrill, the company secretary of Savannah Construction Limited, was an associate of Alan Gerald McCarthy, owner of Alpha Choice Finance Limited, the company to whom Agombar had sold his shares.

Sounds very similar to the Zabka dodgy shop in Eign Gate ... Names changing on the documents to get round rules' ...
