    About time this area was enhanced to attract more families & better use of the River Wye. Would be nice to see the paddling pool opened again too.

    Have a clearer picture on this today with a comment that they are actually taking over part of Jewsons yard. Also heard a local family are about to submit a planning app for the empty Prezzo unit on the old market and a rumour of Beefy Boys taking an interst in Franky & Bennys.

    Nothing surprises me with any of our Councillors after hearing one of them complaining she had to take time out from her holiday to be part of the emergency meeting a few weeks back.

    Not much info on this. Plans for new Uni student accommodation have been drawn up that will see Gibbs & Dandy in Widemarsh St relocate near to Jewsons with their old business premises used to build Uni student accommodation.

    They found some serious cracks in two walls after being inspected.Both walls are being taken down and rebuilt.....Probably at a cost of a million knowing BBLP.

    The bike lane ends in the middle of three lanes then starts to be a ............... BUS lane Seriously whoever thought that one up needs some sense slapped into them.

    Who was the Councillor at the meeting who was more intrested in geting back to the beach on holiday than debating inportant matters?

    I'm close to this retail park and heard them last night so they are possibly the same group from few nights ago that were in the Lesiure Centre car park around midnight doing doughnuts.

    I'm waiting till the weekend when most not all of these cones and their accompanying signs will more than likely end up in the river Wye.

    Just to show the width of the path down here to show it does not need one lane being turned into a cycle lane. The problem here if reduced to one lane will be traffic backing up around the roundabout causing huge tailbacks.If they do go ahead with this then the traffic lights on the roundabout will need to be switched off but I think its a safe bet this won't go ahead judging by the massive backlash with the Bridge St fiasco.

    Keen cyclist here too AV.Don't you think the path alongside the Old Market is big enough for a cycle lane anyway. I'm all for cycle lanes and safer roads for pedestrians but the utter shambles in Bridge St & Broad St is just appalling.No thought gone into any part of it and no consultation with local businesses.It's quite simply a rush job.

    I was in Andrew Morris est agents today.To say the local businesses around there are angry is an understatement. Businesses are going to go under if the Council keep up this madness.

    Herefordshire Council have been granted permission by Highways England to trial the turning off of the lights on Belmont Island.

    Could this be part of the plan to turn the lights off as the junction across the road to St Martins St is the only part that could be an issue with no traffic control.

    You would never see Quatars app being used in any other Country with all its serious flaws. It also forces Android users to permit access to their picture and video galleries, while also allowing the app to make unprompted calls.
