Looks like a weightlifting gym by those photo's but what are the 'rates' ? megilleland ?

I agree. Vacant private shop doorways are not technically the Council's problem but they should think of the bigger picture. The situation has a knock on effect to their revenue stream ....

I don't buy into your comparison.

Jeremy Corbyn adviser Andrew Fisher suspended by Labour Party There is no known precedent for someone employed by a Labour Party leader to have his membership taken away Independent Falling apart for Jeremy. There are a few anarchists out there but he is losing the mass appeal as I don't think reasonable Labour voters' are anarchists .....

I was in town yesterday and I noticed that it had not sucked up the huge pile of vomit in the doorway next to the Kerry Arms entrance. Commercial Street. I never took a picture as it was not a nice sight ....

The link to the decision is now working again. Herefordshire Council They aren't. Whenever I go out I always see a traffic attendant. The bottom line is that the area will be patrolled if it can make some money.
-
It will be confrontational to enforce [potentially] as a purchase can take less than a couple of minutes to complete at the shop if there is no queue. The attendant might very well meet the unhappy recipient of the PCN. But if there is money to be made there then The Council will be present ....

Proposal approved. Traffic Order will be in force from 7 November 2015. Subject to the lines being painted I suppose. Herefordshire Council

I think Jacobs Court is falling down. Judging by the permanent scaffolding. But people moved in knowing that there was a Pub underneath that at any given moment may apply to change it's opening hours' ..... I think it's 50/50 for this application!

He will be aware of this Forum and that Fridge. If he isn't he shouldn't be a Councillor. So why is the Fridge still there ?

Personally I find that the different type of light thrown down by these LED's, when combined with some fog/mist/rain, makes driving a car harder.

Yates are back up before the The Council tomorrow (04.11.15) for decision on their latest application. Which basically is a request for an extension of alcohol hours until 2AM with a closure time of 2.30AM. Fred Spriggs (Council) objecting. A fair few residents of Jacobs Court (flats above) seem to have got their heads' together as well. Several objections along the same lines of noise etc. Can't put a link up as the Council page is down at the moment ....

I'll take a picture tomorrow in daylight and post it up. It was more of a comment as opposed to a request for help as I've still got my marbles! lol

They dug up the whole pavement opposite my gaff 6 months ago and installed a new LED light. It's not connected and the old yellow light is still there. Whole pavement is blocked with barricades! I'm getting very bored of seeing that situation going on!

I think they were growing in bulk for Supermarket use. With the knowledge that a percentage of the parsnips would not get past the size/shape test. What got binned was totally edible. That's why parsnips are trending on Twitter .... via the #wastenot hashtag ....
-
They were trying to head off the 'parsnip' story ! A Corporate Story as opposed to a particular branch issue ... #wastenot

It's a shambolic disgrace what's going on there. And that Skateboarding sign has now fallen off it's pole. I'd be tempted to contact the Ward Councillor if I was you. It's Phil Edwards. Apparently he can easily be found mowing in Belmont most days. In fact I'm disappointed he's not over that already.
