Fixed Penalty Notices are disposals for criminal offences. The Road Traffic Acts and other delegated legislative measures are not civil law but create criminal offences.
Thank you for this clarification, George.

I agree this is very frustrating especially when they are quick enough off the mark to try and catch out the motorist with the head cams etc
-
About bloody time. Is there provision for car parking with these new homes?
-
I wonder why a Spanish person would carry out such atrocities?
No doubt we will be told the usual "we all stand together against terrorists" I agree with Katie Hopkins on this one, Candles and Hashtags do bugger all.

Not exactly breaking news now, the HT was again very slow on the uptake of such a big story for Hereford

Newly arrived Herefordian Richard Hammond? He is NOT a Herefordian, he was born in Solihull and he has lived near Ross on Wye since 2011 (6 years) so not really a new arrival.
If you have the money I guess your entitled to spoil yourself.

Can we just wait to see what the facts are, before jumping in with comments, all guns blazing?
The 'terrorist bus attack' turned out to be...not a terrorist attack.
On 21 April 2017, the federal prosecutor announced that it had arrested a 28-year-old German-Russian citizen, identified only as Sergej W., on suspicion of 20-fold attempted murder, bringing about an illegal detonation of explosives, and aggravated battery. The man had been staying at the Borussia team hotel. He planted explosives along the road where the team bus would later leave to the stadium.
Hardly all guns blazing, I merely posted a link, you came up with that conclusion all on your own.
So not a terrorist attack then..
The 26-year-old accused of killing one man is believed to be an Islamist who suffers from psychological problems, authorities say. When is planting explosives on a public road with a sole purpose to kill or injure not a terrorists attack?
Anyway, the link I posted was about a knife attack in supermarket if you read it.

This man is spot on and this is exactly the stance we should continue with. Fed up with those bullies in Brussels.

I know it is a chain but we have had several really nice meals at Wagamama and the service has always been first class, so credit where credit is due.

Personally, I can't stand Corbyn he showed huge support so it will be interesting to see what happens in Venezuela.

It does speak volumes actually.
I stand by my comment, if drivers cannot see something out of the ordinary on a roundabout without crashing into each other, should they really be allowed to be in control of a vehicle?
Is it that much different to a group of men cutting the grass, or digging the plants? People don't start having accidents when there are workmen on the roundabout, so how was she so much more of an accident risk to everybody?
What you on about? They only have to dig a tiny hole or be cutting a hedge and there are about 500 cones half a mile each side and most of the time this includes traffic lights and lane closures. I have driven all across Europe and I have never seen any other EU country so over the top as the UK. This is the busiest junction in Hereford, they would not even allow the traffic lights to be turned off on a trial basis as part of the lights out campaign because they felt an accident may happen and you think a woman parading around often in her nightware in the middle of this roundabout is not a distraction? Behave yourself!!

Very misleading!
Someone has taken notice of this topic because the original certificate that was in the window has now been removed.

Lets just take them all, yes keep sending them over, bypass Turkey, Greece Italy and all the countries that have the right to refuse entry and keep sending them to Britain, after all, this is where most are heading anyway if the truth is known. We have plenty of room here, loads of money, loads of houses and and fantastic education system and a really really wonderful free health care service, so come on over we can't wait to welcome you all and god help anyone who dares to object! Just let them try thats what I say, just let them try!! I will be at the train station waiting to applaud you all when you arrive.
-
So what is all this about? First I have heard about it, I will have to have a read though to see what this all means unless someone can summerise it for me?

Hereford in Bloom
lol good one

I thought she had been offered a place to live, she was previously evicted, what do you expect the people of Plough Lane to do? Just hand out another house but more to her taste perhaps? I can't believe what I am reading, if they do that, expect more idiots in tents to arrive.
This is exactly what will happen.
-
Went around the roundabout this evening - boy, was Ms LAMPUTT struggling. The rain was coming down, the wind getting up and the tent misbehaving as she was trying to tether it down. Bit like a typical camping holiday in the U.K. The camping/protest thing I can just about live with, but why does she need to build such outlandish artistic structures? It's like the kids would make in Mad Max's 'Beyond Thunderdome'. And where do all her handcarts and trolleys come from. Surely someone has missed them by now?!?
How much mess can she make there before something is done about it? Surely she is becoming a public nuisance?
I hope it pours down all week and we have a few nice storms
-
If this is a protest then I fully support its aims and objectives. And if I knew if there was an aim or an objective, and there must be, I'd be the first to congratulate the occupants of the tent or tents, embrace them and say, 'I've no idea what your protesting about but I'm with you every single step of the way.'
This is yet another example of the great British spirit and endeavour that compels good people to protest about something I've no idea what they're protesting about. It's this very British spirit and way of thinking that sets us apart from the rest of continental Europe and provides yet more evidence that we will be better off outside the European Union so that we can camp wherever we wish to and protest about whatever it is we ain't happy about.
To the occupants of the tent or tents, I salute you and wish you well in your demands for whatever it is you want, don't want or will have to have if you're made to have it or not have it depending upon what it is you want or don't want.
I am confused, you fully support its aims and objectives yet you do not know what they are protesting about? It could be that they support public executions, how very strange Bobby to support something blind or do you support all protests?
-
I have never seen anything like it, I originally thought this was a joke untick I saw this with my own eyes. WTF?
Police or Council should move them on, they are a danger not only to themselves but also a big distraction to motorists! What happens if someone has an accident or someone is seriously hurt because they were distracted or trying to avoid these idiots who are crossing backwards and forwards across the busiest roundabout it Hereford?
Move them

This makes for interesting reading some surprises here

Typical, Labour leaving everything in a mess and other people have to clean up after them :)
brilliant :)
-
Well it must be true then.
You know, if it's all over the web...
I will remember that for the next time you quote something from the web
-
Whilst I completely agree that the picture is a complete disgusting mess, to blame it all on "The Left" on Eco Warriors and environmentalists is a bit of a stretch to be honest.
I, personally, don't know anybody that goes to Glastonbury and then claims any moral high ground... They do however, tell boring story after boring story after booooooring story.
Well it seems that I am not the only one to think this, it is all over the web...
