  1. That is a different planning application to what I've seen, admittedly that was last year, it seems with the delay another application is being considered. As for offering the bungalows to the original tenants all but a few were moved out to various locations across Herefordshire, I believe there are only a few of the original tenants still in situ because they refused to move into the country.
  2. Funny he mentions The Chase Hotel last thing I heard was he had put in an offer to buy it!
  3. while I was talking to people in High Town today for Brexit Rupert Lowe joined us, he had a very good reception from the people everyone wanted to speak to him, and people were having their photo taken with him, he is a very nice man. The Hereford for Brexit team will be in High Town again on 18th May, come along and support us. It will be very interesting as remainers are suppose to be there at the same time.
  4. twowheelgood, where did you get your information from? and how long ago was that
  5. It is a great pity these prefabs are being demolished the people living there loved them, some living there since they were built. like the Oval development the new properties were to replace what had been demolished and for the tenants, that did not happen, because Keepmoat wanted half of what was built to sell as part of the contract to build. I have seen the original development plans and they have been changed surprise, surprise ! instead of total replacement of all 41 prefabs. I have been told there are 16 bungalows, the rest are houses to sell. I hope these new properties don't have the same development faults as the Oval has.
  6. I hope Sue is not ill, when her sister did that Cllr Woodward she was very ill no one knew for six months what was wrong. Other than that maybe she doesn't like the Alliance, either way Sue explanation is very strange.
  7. Last it was discussed Keepmoat was the contractors, they were to move immediately from the Oval development to Beattie Ave. The delay is because the workers from Wales had not been paid for 3 months
  8. I Have just read on HT website that Cllr Mathews states the Independents has 16 not 18 Cllrs, he also states that the Independent are going to run the council, and then in the next breath he is going to talk with ALL THE OTHER GROUPS next week, and yet a Independent Cllr told me that they are not going to be part of an alliance with IOC and Greens as IOC put into the HT last week they had not discussed the article with either the Greens or Independents. and then it states the Independents could form a coalition with the Tories which they did 12 years ago. The comments beneath the story are not very complimentary towards Cllr Mathews or his Independent party.
  9. Dilligaf, can't say just yet, but he could be in for a nasty surprise
  10. YES I DID, HE IS GOING TO BE PAID £744.00 A MONTH + TRAVELLING EXPENCES AND HE WANTS ME TO DO HIS WORK FOR HIM !
  11. BERNARD HUNT HAS HAD THE ORDASITY TO SEND ME A LETTER TODAY STATING THAT HE WOULD LIKE ME TO ASSIST HIM WITH ANY WARD PROBLEMS AS HE KNOWS THERE ARE THINGS I COULD TEACH HIM ABOUT THE WARD
  12. Megilleland. Bernard Hunt lives in Bromyard there was a landline and mobile number on his leaflet (or should I say Phil Edwards) because it was all about him, nothing about Bernard Hunt. He disappeared from the count after 30 minutes because he had calls to make in regard to his business, good start for the people of Newton Farm, his business comes before his councillor work, time will tell.
  13. Cllr Price will not be missed nobody like him, just thought Cllr Bremer was also mayor of Ross. the mood at the count you could cut with a knife, Cllr Chappell face was a picture he was so confident he was going to win. There has been a lot of complaints sent to the election officers about many Cllrs, some of the Cllrs that have been elected could be disqualified from their wards within a few weeks, its in the hands of the police, from Worcester. so I have been told.
  14. Colin, I agree, on both accounts count me in on both. Glenda
  15. Looking at the names of Tory councillors that have gone 4 were cabinet members and Brian Wilcox was the chairman of the council, but he will be alright because he a magistrate at Hereford Court. and Harry Bremer own 6 castles across the country, he a multi millionaire I think the only thing that will hurt is their pride.
  16. Tom, I worked with IOC and LDems for 12 years from 2003-15, as an Independent and I can assure you I achieved a great deal for the people of Newton Farm on my own. I found IOC cannot be trusted, the Independents offered to work with them in recent years, and they stabbed us in the back, and LD candidate has a reputation for not working for anyone who doesn't see things from her point of view. I cannot understand why they have formed an Alliance party because I cannot see them agreeing to anything, I can assure you it is very different from the inside of the council.
  17. Megilleland, thank for clarification, its Gloucester council area, why is he standing in Hereford.
  18. I have been told this morning there has been a lot of complaints in regard to local elections, Herefordshire Council and Elections office have said it doesn't come under their complaints system, the police are now involved (not Hereford police) and apparently they received a lot of complaints.
  19. Tom Smith, having just looked at who is standing in Widemarshe I have worked with some of them in the past, I would not vote for any of them. Isn't Forest of Dean in Wyre Forest council area, may be I'm wrong.
  20. Tom Smith, to answer your question, I have found a lot of people have said on NF, to candidates about Brexit, if you don't support Brexit your not getting my vote, that said on my leaflet you will see I do support Brexit, also resident have shown me where they have put the leaflets from various candidates in the bin. I do believe and have done for many years that candidates should live in the ward they are standing for. There is so much apathy in these local elections this time round.
  21. Dilligaf. Yes there is a Con and Lib Dem no IOC other than for city he lives in Belmont. Lib Dems just started their leaflet drop, just had a phone call to tell me, but I haven't received it. I have been told she no longer lives in Newton Farm but Belmont whether that true or not I don't know. Colin will you allow me to say the following on my own behalf: the HT report that I have a criminal record is untrue, the case brought against me by Amanda Smith was not proved simply because I was not in Hereford at the time, and it was proved, also the compensation of £3.887.36 WAS NOT ALLOWED BY THE COURT! I did not change my plea to guilty the solicitor did that without my permission, it is now in the hands of the police commission , I made a complain and it was accepted. thank you Colin.
  22. No one has had leaflets from Cons or Lib Dems on Newton Farm they are cutting it fine. The only person I have spoken to is the Labour candidate I saw her last week when I was canvassing, I ask her about her address she said her agent made that mistake, but she also said she doesn't think she get in. Considering she is an opponent she very nice to speak to. While I was knocking doors a lot of people showed me that they put the independent paperwork in the recycling bin, they said any recommendation from Cllr Edwards would go in the bin, one was using his leaflet to rest their coffee cup on. The thing going against Bernard Hunt is he lives in Bromyard, I am standing for the Democrats & Veterans party this time, they want to get our democracy back and leave the EU straight away, they are for the people, and I like that.
  23. Colin, pleased to read in local press that ours isn't closing, Glenda
  24. I watched this, and was surprised to know the people concerned.
