Who would want to live there? but then again, I am sure they will sell them.

Well I think now that Colin has got this new forum up and running, maybe we can all collectively put some pressure on the council for Colin's suggestion of a footbridge, he actually asked about this back last year in this topic

Unreal

Thanks Colin

I would define that as yes to be honest in the nicest possible way, if they were normal they would not be infertile?
I am on your wavelength

Belmont Voice is attracting people with something to say and when an issue is raised it remains posted here for further comment. Unfortunately the Hereford Times cuts comments and drops issues when it suits them. I do not think their new comment format helpful on their website. Belmont Voice can carry photos to illustrate your points (a picture is worth a thousand words) and you can link to other sources of information to support your view very easily.
Belmont Voice is a marvellous site and something Colin can be proud of. I feel it should cover the city, as what applies here in South Wye generally concerns or involves the remaining wards of Hereford.
What I like about this site is that if a topic drops off the main page simply because newer stories have appeared you can still click on the navigate tab at the top and go into any of the forums, then reply again to an old topic and it then bumps that topic back to the front page.
I think Colin could extend this site to cover the whole of Hereford and I agree with Martin (megilleland) on that.

It's in the remit of Herefordshire Council. All I need is a phone number of who to contact. The present council website is a waste of time. I hope Balfour Beatty has more interest in our surroundings.
I echo that Martin

I wondered what all the police were doing at the Oval earlier. Another murder in Hereford! What's happening to our little city, we only had a stabbing in Belmont not so long ago and now all this forensic activity at the Oval.

Glenda thank you for replying. I appreciate that if the trees or bushes in in some ones garden it is their responsibility but if it overhangs on your property or onto the public highway then it can be cut back.

Well done Councillor, this is all very good, can they also have a look at the overgrown tress and bushes on the footpath from McDonalds all the way up to Tesco, I say this because you cannot walk along this path without being attacked by the overgrown trees and bushes, you are forced onto the grass, if you walk this path (which I do most days) you will see what I mean, I have to keep ducking down as I walk. Extra lighting along the GWW is also a must as it is way too dark up there.
Good to see an active councillor! Thank you for all that you do.

I hope this is not true Colin.

Tesco's dictating work etc...even though they haven't been mentioned as authorising work in this scenario - I still think they have a lot more power in Hereford than what people like to think!
As for Councillor Phil Edwards, would he really care about the time that AMEY do work - seeing as he doesn't even live in Belmont anymore!!

Good point

6am is a little early, 0730 would be more acceptable but the only roadworks I saw when I was there earlier was on the footpath not the road? (even though cones were on the road?)

Phil, (If I may call you by your first name) Colin is right, this is a massive scam, have a read through the various articles. I believe in your morals but this is a quick money making exercise that has been going on for years, that is why the government have not endorsed them. They are an unregulated bunch of cowboys, really they are.

This is a lot better

Do not pay anything!

This must be due for consideration about now then?

Well nothing surprises me Bobby, a lot are just out for themselves. I would personally like to thank Councillor Powell and Councillor Bridges for both joining in the debates.
Councillor Powell has often been very active as is a valued Councillor in my opinion.

Amey do not seem to look after the area as it used to be anymore Chris unfortunately
-
Weird?
-
I see that you have got over 100 signatures now which is brilliant, keep up the good work. I tell as many people I know as possible.
-
Well done Mr James, fair play, you do put in a big effort with everything you do.
-
Colin I have just read the article in the Hereford Times, although they get the point across there is no link to the actual petition as you say, shame.

I am shocked at the cost propsed for this incenrator £1Billion? Where have they plucked this number from? Recycling is the answer and kurb side sorting instead of the current system, like in many other towns. I agree with bobby, why are the councillors not commenting on this important issue?

I did not realise that.
