I am really all about the peace and love....not really General material!!!!

 Colin, I am in a  poetic mood tonight, so here's one just for you!!

                           "Ode To Traffic Lights."

Sometimes they are green,

But they're usually red,

Traffic Lights in Hereford,

Means they'll be delays ahead!

There is an answer to this problem,

To end our sorry plight,

Listen to Our Colin,

And switch off those bloody lights!

Well! We have come full circle!

For those who don't follow HT, Biomech was first banned in August. Here's how I felt about it then....

                       "Ode To Biomech."

Listen up you H-T posters!

We must come together and unite!

An injustice has occurred,

Upon this very site!

A comment made by Biomech,

Has seen him rendered "barred,"

This is not acceptable,

It really is too harsh.

Just release him back into the wild,

He'll find his way back home,

Then he'll be free to post again,

And rant and rave and moan!

That didn't work....so we downed tools, and went on strike!

As requested by our Good King Bobby, another poem followed.....slightly crosser in tone!

                              "Give Us What We Want Or We'll Kick Off Big Time."

                                                      (SHORTENED VERSION.)

Give us what we want,

Or we'll kick off big time!

This is a very serious issue,

Disguised in a dodgy rhyme.

Our comrade you are holding,

This really isn't fun,

And so we are on strike,

Until you free the H-T one!

Sadly, that didn't work either......and now, here we are again!!

Biomech,this is for you!

                                    "Biomech's Got Banned Again."

Biomech's got banned again,

This is the second time.

He's now a H-T fugitive,

Convicted of a blogging crime!

He's made a comment several times,

(Perhaps he shouldn't oughta,)

About the articles from the pen,

Of Fragrant Fiona's daughter!

So Biomech,your hands been forced,

Now it really is your choice,

You could try another posting name -

Colin, your letter is in the HT - probably won't make it on-line, as we are on rations!!

Just two new letters have appeared in over three weeks!

This is my 80th post in two weeks!

Surely this is some sort of record for a new poster??

Please may I have a certificate,or at the very least, a gold star...??????

I don't know Flam, but I wonder if the amount of redacted names has anything to do with this drive towards Personal Independance Allowance. Where folk with a disability are given their own budget and have to buy in their own care/sevices. Most parents and carers I have spoken to,despair of this system - they truly feel they have enough on their plates without the worry of this and all the paperwork that goes with it.

If this money was paid out, then it would, I feel, be reasonable not to print names.

That said - I don't know this, its just a thought.

Anyone with a more definate idea, please post and enlighten me.....!!!!

This is a great response - said with guts, and with feeling!

The sooner IOC can take the reins, the better as far as I am concerned.

No real idea Biomech - I do recall that when Belmont / Asda roundabout used to flood, there was some sort of plan to open up the Lines/ Great Western Way so that emergency vehicles could get frome North to South and vice versa, but I have no idea what would be put in place for the great unwashed.

A very long diversion seems the probable option......

A couple of things spring to mind!

1.They are "monitoring" the situation! That always rings alarm bells!

2."We are confident road users can look forward to some real benefits...."  Like what, celebrating getting another year older whilst sat there????!!

It is beyond! A timescale please! When - precisely- will this be sorted!!???

I have just posted a recommendation on HT that should folks want some up to date info on the traffic light nightmare, to join up on here!

Well done Colin, this must be an awful lot of work - but it is appreciated!

Short of chaining ourselves together along the breadth of it Biomech, they will be praying there is never a reason to have to divert traffic away from the New Bridge!

The devil in me says lets force their hand.....anyone fancy joining me...????
