Herefordshire Council asks members of the public to report incidents of dog fouling via the link so that appropriate action can be taken.
Biggest laugh I have had in ages.I know for a fact that unless they are actually seen not cleaning up, sweet FA can be done.
Last time I heard there is now no dog warden.Used to be two who were then made part time then down to one. -
A Herefordshire local resident has filed a claim for mining rights in a pothole after it ate her Landrover Defender. Linda Holtby of Belmont laid claim to the hole near in Barrs Ct Road after it rearranged her landing gear on Thursday evening. Herefordshire Council have since filed a counter-claim with planning permission for five thousand affordable homes with stunning views of the underside of the Cathedral city.
Earlier plans for an underground village in a pothole to the north of the City had to be abandoned this month after magma from the Earth’s core was found welling up in the basement of one of the show-homes. The development was also challenged as not being ‘in keeping’ as it was unlikely to add sufficient value to the peak-hour gridlock on the Roman Road.
Ms Holtby refused to comment as to whether she had already found valuable mineral deposits in the depths of the pothole, although she offered that she had retrieved three Waitrose shopping trolleys and a number 5 bus and passed these back to their owners.
Meanwhile, a spokesman from National Heritage has stated that the pothole may soon be listed as being of special historic interest and considered to be of national importance and therefore worth protecting for future generations to enjoy.

How long is this going to take? 12 months ish! What about the market traders? What about the crap bronze signage let in to the flag-stones.
Think I saw somewhere that the granite stones with brass lettering will be replaced by engraved stones instead.

About time too, looks disgusting. You have the old brick paving and then big patches of black tarmac. A complete eyesore.
The tarmac areas are where the water gas and electricity have been replaced in preparation for the refurbishment.

I have seen people rummaging through these bins and the ones in the car park of Herefordshire gas services over the years.

Ragwert it does not give me any pleasure to see all these shops failing what does concern me is just what is happening to this country. So many jobs lost coutrywide since the start of the New year with no sign of things pciking up. In your wisdom where do you Ragwert see where this country is heading?
My wisdom is as good as yours Denise now we are leaving the EU. 'Up the creek without a paddle' would be my best guess as to where we are heading

It looks like the original planning application for the Social housing is still going ahead.
The hotel will replace the retail units originally proposed in the first application. -

Let's hope they tarmac a decent surface down to Widemarsh Street.
And finish Blackfriars St upto Widemarsh St junction.

Your Herefordshire would not post this info because his disappearance although reported was not on the police website/Facebook page so to them he was not 'officially missing'.

So Ragwert (who apparently knows it all) does not know if there is a New Look in Hereford and Denise thinks it is in the OLM.
Well you could both go along High Street and lo and behold there it is
Yes in retailing times are tough but a major part of the problem is the debts the chains build up - it is not that Hereford alone has a problem
And why do people seem to take some perverse delight in pointing out that shops restaurants are to close?
Looks like I don't know it all...After all
.Oh well such is life

New Look are also in trouble.Do we have one in Hereford? If so they are not on the list of 60 stores being closed.

A large police presence has been gathering this evening along the riverbanks. The river is being searched and the helicopter has provided assistance. This could be in relation to the search for the two missing people.
A body has been recovered from the river.
Shockingly the police pulled the body out of the river in full view of the people walking along the footpath who had gathered to see what was going on
including two of my grandchildren who were walking home with their parents.

Is this owned by Asda stores LTD?
They were the applicants for its demolition

Advertising refusal at Hereford FC
in Edgar Street Grid and Courtyard Theatre
Posted
I have just seen this refusal for advertising at Hfc.
THE COUNTY OF HEREFORDSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL hereby gives notice in pursuance of the above Act and Regulations that CONSENT has been REFUSED for the display of the advertisements described above for the following reasons: 1 The proposed location of the hoardings next to a busy section of road, which also features signalised junctions and pedestrian crossing points, is considered inappropriate owing to the potential for advertisements to distract driver's attention. The proposals would therefore have a detrimental impact on highway safety and are thus contrary to Policy MT1 of the Herefordshire Local Plan and Section 7 of the NPPF.
So how come it was OK for the advertising on Newmarket roundabout ?
