  1. Does anybody know if Nick Nenaditch is still involved with Hereford United.

Is there an assurance that there is no danger in the financial benefits transferred by the council falling into “the wrong hands†and does HC have any control where the assets are transferred to  should a third party become involved.

I wonder who wrote the article on the front page of the HT unusually this has not been attributed to anybody.

  2. The new Mayor of Hereford is "Passionate about the city, Len is determined to promote Hereford and all its assets, especially its marvelous people." The spelling of marvellous is HC's spelling not mine! No spellcheck obviously.

  3. Judging by the price of land at the moment that is a lot of money.  The register is not up to date and is less than a year ago.  How on earth can HC possibility know their wealth if a document as important as this is not updated.  Alarm bells ring for me every time I read something about HC.  All slightly off topic but ho hey!

  4. Somebody mentioned this to me when we talking about the lack of grass cutting throughout Hereford.  I do not know if all football pitches owned by Hereford Council are kept trimmed I suspect not.  So I decided to ask the question -

"Where does the money go to that local football clubs pay for booking charge for the use of football grounds for each game? I believe this is charged at £35.00 to £40.00/hour and if it runs over they are charged for the full hour. I know that for example Pegasus Club probably do their own upkeep so the hourly charge for use of football ground would go to them but I am interested where all the rest goes to."

Is Halo Leisure an organistation within an organisation ?

Herefordshire Council Hi Denise - A number of local football pitches are owned by Herefordshire Council and managed by Halo Leisure. Halo collect the income for these pitches on the council’s behalf and the income is included in the annual budget provided to Halo for provision of services.

  5. Don't forget the Council also own several council farms and woodland for which Bramer is supposed to be producing a "feasibility study report within" the next couple of weeks.  Probably more family silver to be sold off.

  6. Reduction in council tax and something similar to a service charge for every person over 18.  This money to be given to the Parish Council to arrange their own grass cutting.  Money directly paid to local businesses and the responsibility of keeping Herefordshire neat and tidy taken well and truly out of the hands of the Council.  The Council have so let us down on this and have proved that they cannot deliver.

  7. I believe the common denominator is Staff Recruitment Agencies.  In an idler moment today I looked at HC expenditure I do not know which month anyway the company Ethica Recruitment Leeds were paid much money.  I had a look at the directors nobody I recognised but it was absolutely amazing the amount of company hopping they had done and in very few years.  It becomes sort of an illness do you imagine these company hoppers have a score board?  Why have I got it in my mind there is a Leeds connection with one of our suits? I am not suggesting there is anything wrong with this company as I am sure they are accredited otherwise the Council would not be using them.

  8. I'm not a football fan but the way they have conned money out of fans who have worked damned hard to keep the club going is deplorable.  A lot of fans are just normal working people who have not cash to spare but have dug deep in the belief they were helping the club  they must feel very bitter and fed up.  Talk about a scam.  However I can't help but feel there is a hidden agenda with all of this or has Hereford lost it's way. Is this in part due to our leaders letting us down with poor decisions and just not being in touch with the majority of the people of Hereford - the ones that count.

  9. Here is the link for Expenditure found it straight away amazingly.  Sit comfortably before reading it!  https://www.herefordshire.gov.uk/transparency

For putting the wrong green bag out I was issued a blue sticker oops.  But it was worth a try.  If our Council would do bins for garden rubbish I would certainly purchase one.  Other counties do it why not Hereford.  To trapse into town and buy "the proper green bags" is nothing short of a nuisance.
