Well of course it isn't but they do not have the common sense to work it out.  They have their bit of lawn around their houses which they manicure to the last blade but have no idea what the consequences are if grass and weeds are left to become overgrown and unmanageable.  That is the importance of farming sheep and cattle manage the grass on a farm.  Beautiful countryside doesn't just happen it has to be managed!

Lovely glossy very polished presentation I wonder what this would have cost.  I do not see any costings for any of these options.  I understand that 10k to 16k houses will have to be built along the route of this proposed road to cover the cost. I am not saying there is not a need for houses but the right number and the right areas.  Move forward a few years more houses more traffic. Prior to completing the questionnaire think carefully about what you want for the area.  I think I am correct in saying Here for Hereford and the D of T have questioned the validity of putting a link road from the A465 to the A49.  From what I have witnessed the majority of HGV's travelling on the A465 do not turn at the roundabout for Rotherwas but travel over the bridge so I wonder how much the link road would alleviate the problem.  

Considering this covers a huge area the consultation has not been terribly well advertised.  The area it affects is vast  It really annoys me with all their technology that you have to print the questionnaire off and are not able respond online.

I'm glad somebody mentioned benefits I've been reading through the comments and this may sound very harsh but they get a fair wack of money or they used to.  When I really really needed a cash prop up through ill health there was nowt and I've worked all my life.  Many elderly and disabled people are really suffering through sheer financial cramp sorry but enough money has already been thrown at this particular group of people.  Shape up or ship out -  you get nowt for owt!   

I expect once again a Staff Recruitment Agency will be used for recruitment purposes -  all that money makes you want to vomit

There is also a vacancy for a something at £50k/annum.  If anybody can make head nor tail of the job spec I take my hat off to them.  Closing date tonight.   Well Bill Tanner he certainly does his job to the fullest and should be commended for it.  

HOORAY HOORAY you have been missed well I've missed you wow.  Quite honestly I think this is less unhealthy than that truly awful Jeremy Kyle programme that is the pits.  I was at somebody else's house this morning about my business and that prog was on my God words fail me.  I am so glad your're back.  Tapping doesn't cost money it sometimes stimulates the mind and releases some anger and frustration so it can't be that bad.  Some of the twaddle is read and noted.   Hooray hooray!!!!!!!!!!!!

I keep on hearing a little rumour that Edgar Street is not currently insured due to non payment of premiums.  Has anybody else heard this? Could somebody confirm who the landlord is and who the tenant is?

And they pay somebody to come out with that nugget of information.  No wonder this county looks a mess and contravenes many Health and Safety issues.  

So the Council own Franklin House but some other organisation paid for it coo that's the way to do business.

The plot deepens

Mr Pickles told the Telegraph: “Senior town hall pay was allowed to spiral out of control under the Labour Government and we have been very clear that councils need to show much greater restraint.

“All local authorities should be focusing resources on protecting frontline services and keeping council tax down rather than throwing away taxpayers’ money. Councils are now legally required to open up their books to public scrutiny, and councillors now have the powers to stop exorbitant pay deals – they should use them.† 

Perhaps Mr Pickles should come to Herefordshire and have a look around.

I repeat what I said in an earlier post - Is there an assurance that there is no danger in the financial benefits transferred by the council falling into “the wrong hands†and does HC have any control where the assets are transferred to  should a third party become involved.

It truly looks awful everywhere in Herefordshire.  Even areas that have been cut by BB stooks of grass are left standing no strimming is done it just looks what it is tatty.  The splays are not even being cut in many places.  This is such false economy certain areas of grass will take a long time to recover other areas will probably have to be reseeded.

  Herefordshire Council’s bid to the National Pothole Fund succeeded in winning an extra £2.573 Million for road repairs. This is great news and is the highest allocation in the country.

GDJ don't forget build 10K houses to help pay for the bypass.  Ten thousand houses that is at least 10000 more cars and so it goes on and on and .............
