megilleland Posted August 27, 2015 Report Share Posted August 27, 2015 West Mercia Police Belmont & Newton Farm Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) August 2015 Newsletter Crime Trends 66 Crimes recorded for the month of July 2015, 6 have currently been detected, but others will be detected in coming weeks Theft………20 Drugs………4 Misc………..11 Damage……6 Burglary…...4 Assault……..21 General Policing During the month of July 2015 we had 212 incidents reported to the police for the Belmont Safer Neighbourhood area, which were either attended or dealt with by us or response officers. 26 of these incidents were what we call “Grade 1â€, which means a 999 emergency call, which is either something life threatening or a crime in progress. A typical number of incidents reported as last month. An increase in crimes this month, the greater numbers being theft and assaults. A slightly lower detection rate this month.
