Recent change to timing on the Asda roundabout has given too much to the Belmont road northbound at the expence of the Ross road causing gridlock in that road and the Holme Lacy road cross roads. This morning, monday at 11.30am, I took 20 minutes to travel from the Coop turning on the Holme Lacy road to the Asda roundabout having at least 9 lights change to reach the Belmont road. moving two to three cars at each lights change due to the cross raods being blocked for at least half the change time. At the Asda roundabout I saw 17 vehicles pass northbounr to 4 vehicles allowed to pass from the Ross road. Some change was needed to aleviate the Belmnt road but it has been taken to far.
