  1. Correct. Waterstones WILL only be trading from the ground floor, regardless of planning permission above the store.

    IIRC the kettle is outside the copper kettle at the bottom of Aylestone Hill.

    What, the shop that's now Legge's?

    I thought there was some covenant on the Waterstone's building that meant the kettle had to be there for x number of hundred years?

  2. Wow. I just looked at the EE website. Things have moved on great deal since I last looked at this type of thing. They have 64GB of data at 4G speeds for £30 a month. Not a bad deal really. I guess the other networks do similar deals. As long as you live in a good coverage area this should be one in the eye for BT.

  3. Whilst I agree with greenknight's sentiment I cannot help but feel that in many ways our high streets across the nation are facing a period of upheaval. Little things we do are not going to effect the groundswell change that is gathering pace. I don't claim to have the answers, I'm not happy about it, and I'm certainly not knocking M&S, just feel that we're all helpless passengers.
