    7.1 % are disabled in Poland.Population 37 million

10.3 % disabled in UK Population 65.2 million.

When it come to working age people Poland has the highest level in Europe

    The disabled people in poland
    1. 1. *Inactivity rates of Polish workers with disabilities tend to be much higher than in other countries. , the country has the highest level of disability in Europe, with some 2.38 million people with disabilities in working age

I think your missing the point here, the word we are looking for is scammers!

  2. The underground subways are so so different in Poland. All of the subways we used (and there were white a few) were all well lit up, with CCTV and spotless! No rubbish, advertising posters or graffiti anywhere!

  3. Just goes to show, when no or fewer benefits are paid out strangely enough there happens to be less disabled people about. I bet you didn't see hardly anyone on a mobility scooter either Colin?

Funny you should mention that Frank, I was actually going to say just that in my original post and yes you are absolutely 100% on the money, we didn't see one single person on a mobility scooter. I saw one chap on crutches coming out of a shop on one of the days and that was it.

  4. We have just returned from yet another wonderful week in Poland. As in this topic here are we to believe that here are less disabled people in Poland compared to the UK? Or is it that we just have more scammers making a mockery of our benefits system...I took photographs virtually overtime we passed a car park and as you will see, there are only one or two disabled designated bays and guess what, each time they were empty!

  5. Didn't the law change recently though making those tickets valid?

I had one put on my car about 7 months ago and completely ignored it, after a few threatening letters all correspondence from the scammers have stopped.

Unless, something has changed within this time frame, nothing has changed as far as I am concerned.

Hereford's £3m flagship Greenway bridge, opened by Cllr Chappell in Dec 2013, has not had a single penny spent on it since. It's covered in graffiti, dog mess, mould and weeds. Once again, why aren't the ward councillor/s demanding some action? Chose how you move, but be careful where you walk/cycle and try not to read the very large and very offensive graffiti. I also had to dodge an idiot on a motorbike this evening.

Unbelievable that is has been allowed to fall in such a state!  I will need to go down and have a closer look.

  7. Less than a mile, as it goes!!!

The scores on the doors scheme has really made establishments in Wales up their game, people were literally walking straight past low scoring premises.

I believe it should be made an immediate requirement in England. The scheme is in place, monitored and controlled, the establishments have all been issued with stickers, could be put in place just like that!

    I agree

  8. Yes, twg, you're completely correct!

I don't understand why Wales is ahead of us on this one! There, it is a legal requirement to display your rating, whatever it may be....

Well I have another issue with this because tonight I called into the New Canton House Chinese in Bridge St as I remembered that they happily display their ratings but there is a twist...

    1. New Canton House Bridge Street, Hereford, Rated 2 - Last inspection 21 September 2016

Take a look at the photographs I took this evening, they are still displaying their original rating of 4 from back in 2015, any law against this? This is misleading is it not?

  9. Balfour Beatty used a weed killer a couple of years ago that turned the ground blue where they had sprayed. Because of the number of complaints about how ugly it looked they abandoned that idea.  Because of various regulations weed killer is not as powerful as it used to be so needs to be applied on a regular basis.  BB do not do anything on a regular basis so spraying would be a waste of money the only answer is the old labourous method of pulling the weeds out.  Perhaps some of the Ward Councillors could take the supposed big wigs of the Council on a little trip out and about so that they can see just how bloody awful Herefordshire looks.  I see on FB they are moaning about the state of the Castle Pool area.

I think they are building a couple of houses near to that tree the activity may well have disturbed the roots - just make sure if sorry when the traffic is held up near there try not to hang about!

There are no new houses, they have just sold the one on the front and the land at the back is for sale or has just been sold however, these roots have damaged this wall years ago, this is not something recent but it is getting worse and no signs of the tree's being reduced in size or trimmed back either

  10. I have MAJOR concerns over these two tree's on the Belmont Road, I have mentioned this several times over the years but nothing is seems to be done about it. These tree's are an accident just waiting to happen! The roots have pushed out the wall beneath.

You only tend to see the establishments with higher ratings displaying them :)

  12. The Food Hygiene Rating Scheme (FHRS) in England, Wales and Northern Ireland helps consumers choose where to eat out or shop for food by giving them information about the hygiene standards in restaurants, takeaways and food shops.

  13. Not withstanding my own views about the migrant crisis and the heartless way in which some EU member states have addressed this issue, I note with keen interest the aggressive change in tone of language made by the oily slimy EU ruling elite that's been deliberately directed toward both Poland and Hungary who refuse to bend to the will of Junker, Tusk and that tw.at Verhofsdadt.

The new French Presdent has attacked Poland by complaining that the Polish workers ain't paying their taxes to them in France, but instead are using an EU directive fiscal mechanism that's perfectly legal, that allows them to pay their taxes to Poland. Good for the Polish I say. F.uck the EU. These political mandarins created this economic game of globalisation madness. Don't blame the Polish for exploiting their folly.

This new French charmer has also complained the Polish are taking their jobs because of this issue. Good! Again, I hope the Polish men and women who work like stink under the guidance of EU rules that undermine wage levels now have the same success rate with the bloody French. I hope the Polish people continue to prickle these bastards who are intent upon delivering the dream of the mighty Germanic federal aim of one nation, one will, one flag and everyone has to wear lederhosen during a national holiday.

Last but not least, the former leader of Luxembourg, bloody Jean Claude bloody Junker who says, 'had we known then what we know now that Poland and Hungary have an issue with ethnicity we probably wouldn't have allowed them to join our Club in the first place. Then the oily bastard hinted that the money tap could easily be switched off as punishment for their disobedience. The bastards! The EU knew way back when how these two member states valued their own individual identity, and as much as I disagree with their stance on the migrant issue, I sincerely hope these two countries cause Brussels as much pain as they've caused me to endure as I've sat back and watched their expansionistic policies that'll only ever lead our continent into conflict with Russia.

Mind, the problem is Poland are the largest beneficiaries of EU money and if the EU do switch the cash tap off, you can be sure if one single thing. They've destroyed Greece without batting an eyelid, so bringing Poland and Hungary to heel with a measure of economic ruin won't be much of a problem to these unelected mandarins.

Well said Bobby, I could not agree more.
