  1. Mason who is a pupil at St Francis Xavier school in Hereford who has recently just turned 9. Mason who is active competition climber and climbs regularly at Green Spider Climbing and at the boulder barn here in Hereford. He has recently finished the season by taking part in the The British Mountaineering Council (BMC) youth climbing series which is a national competition divided in to regions. Mason represents South West North Region which includes Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and Berkshire in Youth category E... It is a 4 round series consisting of 2 roped rounds and 2 boulder rounds at 4 different centres across the region. Mason has trained hard for this supported by his local climbing community and his hard work has payed off as he secured 4 first places to become series winner of Youth category E South West North. He has had a great first year of competition climbing all over the UK 🏆 Midlands Youth Boulder Cup Winner 🏆 Young Climbers Festival (Sheffield) Winner 🏆 Rock Solid Bouldering Series (North East ) Winner 🏆 BMC YCS South West North Winner 🥈 Youth Boulder Cup (Sheffield) 2nd Place Mason will continue to have fun and train hard over the winter ready to see what next year will bring .. Congratulations Mason on your fabulous success in just your first year! The future looks bright!

Old Hereford Pics (theme) As we also have our Old Hereford Pics page which has been operating since 2008, we often share some wonderful old photographs from our archives, however, in recent years some local pages have also jumped on the bandwagon with their groups also promoting the same old picture theme. Remember Chadds department store in Hereford? Who doesn't eh! Well we shared this old photo of one of their shopping bags.. And just 2 minutes later.. Some things do not go unnoticed
  3. Themes Nothing more flattering than when someone follows your theme.. Early one Saturday morning we posted a Christmas themed article, you can see it below; You couldn't make it up, but you'll never guess what followed less than an hour later..
  4. The fire service had some really challenging weeks over the summer this year, so we thought to would be nice to say 'Thank You For Your Service' (we've been saying this for sometime now, we like the way people in the Us say it to their armed forces). Our thanks to the fire service didn't go unnoticed the following morning.. But the most rewarding element for us was when we had a sincere response back from HWFRS Fire Chief Jon Pryce
  5. We all love a nice animal rescue story, this poor horse got itself stuck and needed rescuing! We also do our best to promote 'Positive News' Our positivity sometimes catches on very quickly too! Wow just 2 minutes!
  6. The Viking Hoard Day, we were so excited to get this news out there about this great up and coming event Such exciting news does not take long for others to catch on and spread the good word, anyone would start to think we are being stalked! Then of course there was the story about the Viking Hoard we broke about it coming to Hereford.. Our news reach must be bigger than we first thought because in a just a minute it appeared again, how incredible is that!
  7. We all love Dinosaurs! This was a great local event and it prompted us to remind people the night before It also promoted a very swift reaction from others, just 9 minutes later 🦖 🦕
  8. Always nice to show our appreciation to the Police, who have a very challenging job at the best of times. This was not exactly 'Breaking News' however, it was good news that the quick and brave action of a Police Officer managed to save a man's life after he had fell into the river. This heroic news was soon to become 'Breaking News' somehow just 9 minutes later.
  9. Back on the popular doggie theme, sad to learn that PD Rebel had to retire on medical grounds at the start of the year. Just 24 minutes later, others shared the same thoughts
  10. Our topics are now entering some record breaking times to reach a wider audience! The Ledbury Carnival is always a popular event This event is so popular and our reach is so big it literally took just 1 MINUTE for others to share!
  11. It's always a pleasure to share work of local volunteers supporting some great local charities. This good news attracted the attention of others in just 14 minutes. This is a really lovely story.
  12. We were out on Tuesday evening collecting a take-away and noticed that at long last that work had began on repairing the riverside fence that was damaged from the floods in February 2020! It was good to see that the following morning that this long overdue work had reached a wider audience.
  13. As we have previously stated doggies attract a lots on attention, especially Police Dogs that are celebrating their 10th birthday, like PD Rhino 🎂 This 10 year celebration coincidently took just 10 minutes to reach a wider audience!
  14. We were heading into the city when we noticed a large Police presence outside a residence on Belmont Road early on this Friday morning, so we took photograph and published this article. We have such a captive audience! We are so pleased that our news reaches the people of Herefordshire within just 10 minutes! Some interesting comments from local people
  15. A sad day for Bristol Zoo who closed their doors for the last time in September 2022 Our audience is huge and this news again reached a wider audience soon after
  16. On a lighter note, the local fire station inn Hereford were having an open day! Some news spreads like wildfires..
  17. There have been a spate of some very serious sex attacks in Hereford this year. Some local people decided to hold a vigil near the location on the riverside where many of the attacks have taken place. We thought it was important to highlight and spread the news of this event. It certainly did the trick and appeared within just 3 minutes, that must be a new record!
  18. Well as we live in Belmont we could not help but noticed the vehicle And coincidentally the same news article appeared with even more photographs just over 40 minutes later..
  19. Lets post a really nice picture and get onto the theme of photography Our photography theme was very contagious that night, it took like just 4 minutes!
  20. A good friend of ours who actually works at Tudors sent us the breaking news that Robert Price (formally Tudors) were relocating! How exciting and great to see that this empty unit is now being occupied once again. Good news tends to travel fast in Hereford, this time, just under 13 minutes! WOW A few people are starting to notice..
  21. We though that we would share this charity event at the Railway Club Good to see that all of these great causes are being shared
  22. There are some new homes being built on the former Holmer Trading Estate. Good news travels fast and we mean really fast, like less than 4 minutes!
  23. There is nothing better than a beer festival! So we wanted to publish the good news as soon as we could. Sometimes is takes twice as long for the news to reach a wider audience, 26 minutes in this case.
