This competition or giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. By participating you hereby release and hold harmless Facebook from any and all liability associated with this competition.

By entering any competition or giveaway on the Hereford Voice Facebook page, you are agreeing to Hereford Voice storing and using your information for marketing purposes. We will not share your information with third parties unless you specifically agree to us sharing these details.

Entrants are providing information to Hereford Voice and not to Facebook.

By adding photos to any Hereford Voice Facebook competitions or giveaways, you are granting permission for these images to be used by Hereford Voice, online across all of our social media channels and at http://www.herefordvoice.co.uk/and other online communications.

If you are submitting your photo, you understand and agree that Hereford Voice has no obligation to publish your photo. You must be the author/copywriter holder of all images submitted.

Entries must be submitted by the closing date, which is clearly specified within each competition or giveaway description.

Please read these rules carefully. If you enter one of our competitions or giveaways, we will assume that you have read these rules and that you agree to them.

 1. To enter a competition or giveaway you must be: 
(a) UK resident; and 
(b) 18 years old or over at the time of entry. (unless specified different)

2. Entries must be posted on our Hereford Voice Facebook page. 

3. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are not received for any reason.

4. The winner will be the entrant(s) selected at random. 

5. The closing date is as specified in each competition or giveaway and Hereford Voice reserves the right to amend the competition or giveaway end date at any time.

6. If you win a competition or giveaway, we will notify you by Facebook messenger. If we cannot contact you or you do not respond within one week, we reserve the right to offer the prize to another entrant. 

7. The prize cannot be transferable to another person.

8. No prize or part of a prize is exchangeable for cash, tickets or services. 

10. If an advertised prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize.

11. Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified.

12. Please read our Privacy Policy which tells you how we use any personal information we may collect about you by entering a competition. 

13. Hereford Voice reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. We may also create rules which will apply to a specific competition only. 

14. Hereford Voice decision is final.

We are aware that sometimes online scammers are making notifications to entrants claiming they have won, when in fact they have not! 

Please note we will announce any winners from our 'Giveaway' or 'Competition' AFTER THE DEADLINE AND NOT BEFORE. We will contact any winners directly (often with a unique code) and we will NEVER ask for credit card or bank details. 

PLEASE DO NOT USE A CREDIT CARD! WE WILL NEVER ASK YOU FOR YOUR BANK DETAILS OR CARD DETAILS!! REMEMBER THIS IS A GIVEAWAY OR COMPETITION AND NO PAYMENTS ARE REQUIRED!

If you receive a message claiming you have won, please first check the web address (ours will only be Facebook.com/herefordvoice). If you are suspicious, please send us a private message or an email to verify@herefordvoice.co.uk.

These scams are rare, so in general it is not something you need to worry about however, we urge people to be vigilant and use your common sense. We are not responsible for the actions of such scammers and do our utmost to look out for these attempts and when discovered we immediately report them to Facebook.
