A provisional trial date has been fixed for 10 June next year, and is expected to last two to three weeks. Letby was found guilty in August of murdering seven babies and attempting to murder six other infants while working on the neonatal unit at the Countess of Chester Hospital between June 2015 and June 2016. The 33-year-old was given a whole-life prison sentence for each offence she committed.
