Government’s Minister of State Stephen Kinnock Officially Opened New £18M Community Diagnostic Centre In Hereford The centre provides the latest cutting-edge diagnostic imaging services including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound, which will help us to reduce NHS waiting lists and speed up patient diagnosis. By making essential scans and tests more accessible, we’re putting our patients at the heart of our services. The minister said: "By investing in new centres closer to where people live and work, patients can get tests and scans when it works for them." As part of the national programme to establish Community Diagnostic Centres (CDCs) across England, the project enhances the NHS’s diagnostic capacity and supports earlier, more accurate detection of a wide range of health conditions. Located on Holmer Road in Hereford, the centre is equipped with the latest MRI, CT, X-ray and Ultrasound technology, enabling healthcare professionals to provide faster and more precise diagnoses for patients.
