Hereford Voice Posted Tuesday at 20:02 Report Posted Tuesday at 20:02 Today the mantle of the Mayoral post was handed from Cllr Kevin Tillett to Cllr Dan Powell. Born and raised in Herefordshire, Daniel was elected to represent Redhill ward on the City Council in 2019. Since 2023, he has also represented the same ward on Herefordshire Council. He lives in the South of the City with his fiancée Lucy and their Sprocker Spaniel Coco-Bella. Professionally, Daniel works in the family trade, selling flooring. As Mayor, he hopes to help shine a light on the hard work of volunteers and community groups across Hereford. Daniel also wants to promote the voice of young people within our City.
