  1. HWFire and Rescue Service crews from Eardisley have attended an RTC involving 3 vehicles at Whitney-On-Wye Herefordshire today. No further details.
  2. RTC on A438 Portway, outside Oakchurch Garden Centre, lorry with hazardous waste with broken axle and spill on road, police are controlling the heavy traffic, motorists are advised to find an alternative route as recovery will take several hours.

  6. A man who was tragically killed while riding his motorbike involving a collision with tractor near to Thruxton in Herefordshire last Friday has been named. Mr Gary Edward Houghton, aged 54, from Newton Saint Margarets died as a result of the RTC. An inquest was opened into his death today and was immediately adjourned until a later date in order to gather further information.

  8. West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Hereford on Friday (23 April) afternoon. Officers were called at 4.05pm to reports that a black and chrome Kawasaki motorbike and a green Fendt tractor collided on the B348 at the Thruxton junction towards Arkstone Court, Clehonger. Sadly, the man in his 50s travelling on the motorbike, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed. Ambulance and air ambulance also attended the scene.   9. A West Midlands Ambulance Service technician has tragically died whilst on duty in Herefordshire this morning. The ambulance crew were on route to a 999 call when an object struck the ambulance’s windscreen at 8am. It happened at the junction of Moreton Road and the A49.   10. Emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious collision on the A49 in Hereford towards Leominster. The road is currently closed between Church Road and the junction to Upper Lyde. Please use alternate routes while emergency services deal with the incident.

  12. Fire crews from Ewyas Harold Fire Station were mobilised last night to an RTC on Whitecross Road by the Sainsbury's / Aldi traffic lights. Two vehicles had collided at the junction, crews made the vehicles safe using the RTC equipment and following recovery cleared the debris and any spillage. All airbags within the vehicles had deployed. Police and Ambulance service were also in attendance and the traffic through the area had delays for a short period.   13. The A49 is CLOSED near Moreton-on-Lugg between Hereford and Leominster due to an RTC involving multiple vehicles. Emergency services are in attendance but the road will remain closed until recovery arrives. Please avoid the area if possible.

  19. Campaign: Yet another RTC on the A49 near Moreton on Lugg today. This is the third accident in less than a week! This follows another RTC on the A49 near Leominster on Boxing Day after a collision between car and fuel tanker. A man was taken to hospital only last Tuesday (22nd) following another RTC. There was also an accident on the 14th of December north bound at Dinmore and and accident where a vehicle ended upside down in a ditch at the end of November.   23. Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision at Moreton-on-Lugg, Hereford, where a woman sadly died. At around 1.50pm on Tuesday 8 December a Nissan Micra was travelling along the C1120 towards the A49 when the collision occurred.
