Ian and rowsentinel have endured a terrible 48 hours but they’re still going. Ian has no power on board and just one channel of communication left. It’s a very difficult situation but he can row, he’s going in the right direction and he can use a compass to navigate. Food stash! Then, like a gift from the Gods, he found a stash of food he’d forgotten about Beef jerky, nuts and dried fruit and hot chocolate. He’s so chuffed, it made a huge difference to his morale at the toughest of times. rowsentinel now need your help… We’d love to get the charity total past £100,000 to give Ian a massive push in these really difficult days. Please spread the word about the huge effort that this former #specialforces soldier is making. Hello all, A few colleagues and I are organising a private outdoor weekend event at the end of June (hopefully) for our hospital department staff to let off some steam and relax after the terrible year we've all experienced. We are looking for unsigned and upcoming musicians, singers and bands that would be able to perform on stage and showcase their talent, close-up magicians would be a bonus too; either Friday 7pm-11pm or Saturday noon-night to accommodate. We are looking for around 15 different acts. If you would like to be involved please could you send me some details, or even a promo and enter into discussion with us. On behalf of the team, Thankyou.
A National Facility Supporting Britains's Vetrerans. 10000000_1110869936036313_7812413648349107634_n.mp4 To help those who have served in the armed forces, enabling them to transition into civilian life by offering short term accommodation, accredited training, skills, work experience and employment opportunities in the rural and construction sectors. Right now they are halfway through a 22 week aggressive build for much needed veteran's accommodation. This first stage will provide 4 families new temporary accommodation whilst making the transition into civilian life. 2 are full DDA compliant, 2 more are planned to follow on quickly if they can secure funding to create a 6 unit veteran community in a quiet corner of the Herefordshire countryside. Any donations would be gratefully received and Hereford Voice will do all we can to help promote this fabulous project and organisation. #HerefordVoice #HerefordNews #Herefordshire
