  1. I think it is a good idea, we have a lot of polish people in the shire and this trip may give us some spin offs. And its self funded anyway so what is there to moan about? And I love Krakow, I went there for a few days with work. Well worth a visit, loads of culture and they looked after us well. The football club Wisla Krakow were superb, they couldn't do enough for us. We even enjoyed a great night having a few beers with their supporters after the game.
  2. What if the householder was sunbathing naked in a garden? Invasion of privacy?...........................Just asking.
  3. My ex wife worked while married to me. She left me for another and has never worked since. She married him and he is her carer. She is epileptic, occasionally having a fit, which is enough to get her off work. My kids tell me they have everything, playstation/x box, Sky TV, nice car etc. To be honest it suits her and her carer not to work, and helps the government because these two are not on the unemployment register!
  4. May I be the first to wish you all a happy Easter!
  5. I am staggered that the young'uns have been blaming the olduns for voting the country out. Only 24% of the 18-24 year olds managed to drag themselves to vote, need to look at their mates before blaming the wrinklies!
  6. Hi Roger, Do we need to know?, And what do you expect the HT to write/publish if there is nothing else to say?
  7. Sorry to read this Greenknight. Like yourself and Colin I also went through this. I had a very hard time, almost lost my job and ended up a single parent of three kids. It was tough but I came out the other end. Hang in there, things will get better! And hopefully sharing it with us helps you!
  8. Bill Tanner, Mark Bowen and Adam Knight are excellent journos. They have a good team there!
  9. Which backs up my point, people are judging them even though they do not know what they were doing.
  10. http://www.theguardian.com/media/greenslade/2013/may/24/twitter-medialaw?INTCMP=ILCNETTXT3487 Dilligaf........................I agree it maybe hard to Police, I have copied and pasted a link from The Guardian above which explains it far better than I can. And hats off to you Colin, I enjoy reading the Hereford Voice like many others. I am all for 'Open for Discussion' but you still have to adhere to the country's laws.
  11. It is easy to judge from these images.....................but just a thought.............what if you found out that the officers involved saved a life because of their swift actions, or caught a prolific criminal............would it change your opinion? Afraid I'm with Dippy on this one!
  12. Please be careful with your comments guys, as soon as somebody has been arrested/charged there are restrictions on media reporting because the case is active. Trust me I know these things and aim to contribute more to this forum. Happy New Year all
  13. 'Released from custody with a caution' so it says on the HT website..................so I presume that is the end of it!
  14. I think in a funny sort of way this could be a win/win for everyone involved. Excellent marketing by Coco, they have turned a bad situation possibly into a good one by letting a large number peope know they have a large range of Cath Kidston stock in and that they have been treated unfairly. An article in the Hereford Times and facebook/Hereford Voice have helped them advertise this for free to potential customers! There is a strong community in Hereford so they will no doubt sell a large amount of their stock because of this. . But the development have to think of their shoppers/customers first, . Best of luck to all of them!
  15. If this was the Hereford Times website posters would be first to jump on the bandwagon re comments disappearing, what is happening?
  16. Not quiet right Megilleland, the news was first posted on Hereford United's Bulls Banter last night. For some reason (probably because my laptop is playing up) I cannot post the link on here. I would have posted it on here but thought you guys were only interested in Hereford news.
  17. Nothing to say about the last two wins/games then Colin? ;-) Was going to ask you about the lottery numbers being you were starting to correct predictions but don't think i'll bother now. I was there at Aldershot, what a day, shame that it looks like we could be relegated for off field stuff
  18. Great post Chris, fully agree, but lets not presume it is just women that suffer from domestic violence, men do to. Copied and pasted from the Guardian: Data from Home Office statistical bulletins and the British Crime Survey show that men made up about 40% of domestic violence victims each year between 2004-05 and 2008-09, the last year for which figures are available. In 2006-07 men made up 43.4% of all those who had suffered partner abuse in the previous year, which rose to 45.5% in 2007-08 but fell to 37.7% in 2008-09.
