Bought my granddaughter some ugg boots for £32....Bargain

 

I heard this rumour a little while back, they said it was likely going to be built where the old Sportsman pub used to be but I'm unsure since I've also heard another pub was to be built on the site, though Toby Carvery does sell alcohol so who knows.

Gathered some more informations on this.

Opening in Sainsbury's next week will be a pop up Argos at the front of the store (where the magazines currently are) where you can order an item and it will arrive in Sainsbury's from the main store in town in about 30 or so minutes. I believe online click and collect items can also be sent here.

 Then in February, a full Argos store will open in the back of the store where the electrical desk currently sits and all branded general merchandise (TVs, Laptops, iPads, game consoles, kettles, toasters, hoovers etc) will be a part of Argos from then on and will not be sold by Sainsbury's, only Sainsbury's brand stuff will remain, if that makes sense. 

  Judging by this, the Argos store in town will close in or by February 2017.

  I don't know how well known this is but I haven't heard anyone talk about it yet but Argos in town will be closing pretty soon and will be relocated in to Sainsbury's. The upside to this is that Argos will now be open 7am to 10pm instead of the current 9am to 5:30pm, as well as free parking and if you need to any shopping you can do it all at once rather than having to walk in to town. I hear their trying to relocate as many employees as possible so that's good to hear.

  Obvious downside being that there will now be one more empty shop in town.
