Woman found murdered in house linked to incident on Roman Road.

A woman in her 50's was found dead in a house on Highmore Street last night with the death being

treated as suspicious.

 

A man known to the woman was in collision with a minibus on Roman Road last night,Police are searching

the area this morning and is still underway.

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead in Hereford last night.

 

A woman in her 50s was found dead at a property in Highmore Street at 10.20pm on Tuesday evening.
 
The man in his 40s, is known to the woman, was taken to hospital after he was hit by a van in Roman Road at around 5.55pm on Tuesday.
 
He has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being treated in hospital.
 
Forensic teams have been at an address at Nicholson Court, Bobblestock most of the day.
 
Local people say the man had suffered with mental health issues.

We have heard this evening from a reliable source that an ex sas guy with schizophrenia trashed house then murdered mother & cat.

 

He ran jumped a fence and stumbled into the path of the van, he is now in ITU in Birmingham hospital.

Police investigating the murder of a woman in Hereford have released her name.
 
Officers attended an address in Highmore Street, Hereford, at around 10.20pm on Tuesday (9 January) and found the body of 59 year-old Julie Clark.
 
A post mortem examination has revealed she died as a result of stab wounds.
 
A 40-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday, 10 January, remains in hospital.
 
Superintendent Sue Thomas from West Mercia Police said: "Our thoughts are with Julie's family and friends and specialist police officers are continuing to support them.
 
"The family has asked to be allowed to come to terms with their loss without intrusion at this very difficult time."
 
Anyone with information is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident reference 503s of 9 January or via Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Jason Nellist, 40 and of Nicholson Court, Hereford, has been charged with her murder. He has been remanded in custody to appear before Hereford Magistrates Court on Monday (15 January).

Dilligaf are you sure this is the same man as according to police report he sustain serious head injuries and is in Birmingham QE, therefore he cant be in custody to appear in court on Monday ?

Glenda , I would presume that this is the start of formal proceedings , if he is unable to attend because of his injuries this will be explained to the Court and a further Remand in Custody ( The Hospital ) will be set with a date for the next Court appearance set.

 

As an aside this must be a draw on Police rescorces because as he in Custody at the Hospital I must presume the he is under 24 hour guard .
