Alex
How many times do they have to raid this place before it gets closed down? Ffs
twowheelsgood
Really taking the Michael. Neighbours in Cantilupe Street backing onto Jalsagor have been complaining to the authorities for years about people apparently living in the large shed in the back garden. Colin James
I have been reliably informed that the Jalsagor restaurant was NOT raided this time, it was the accommodation above the restaurant which is owned by the same people but not connected to the restaurant. Golden Galleon and Taste of Raj also visited.
the casual
Today's Hereford Times says it was the Taste of Raj - not the Jalsagor.
Colin James
Taste of Raj visited no illegals working but one stay upstairs. Big issues in the kitchens advice, DO NOT EAT THERE! One illegal detained at Glass Tandoori. Flats above Jalsagar and other places owned by them visited - no illegals but issues about unlicensed ***. Marygold visited passed with flying colours - kitchens exceptionally clean

Colin James
I think I will create a thread about hygiene standards in Hereford Restaurants
adamski
Yes Colin. Would be a good idea. The website makes quite shocking reading, and I certainly choose where I eat with care now! Please create a post, then your members can see what's what. In Wales it is a legal requirement to prominently displayed your food hygiene rating, can't understand why England should be any different!
