Dear Martin,

Volunteering for the General Election

I am writing to ask if you would consider becoming a volunteer on my campaign for the General Election next May.

We have made good progress as a county since 2010, especially on the new Enterprise Zone, the regeneration of Hereford City, and fast rural broadband.  I am especially pleased at the work done by the New University of Herefordshire team, with my support.

But to carry this work forward I need the committed support of local people, of all and every political viewpoint.  There is still a huge amount to do to secure a fairer share of government funding for Herefordshire, to boost our local economy and raise incomes, and to protect local healthcare and public services.

To that end, I am holding two volunteer events in early September.  Their purpose is to organise and brief everyone about my re-election campaign. and to launch my 2010-4 Parliamentary Report, on which I have been working over the summer.

DO PLEASE COME ALONG AND LEND A HAND IN WHATEVER WAY YOU CAN.  Please sign up to one (not both!) of the events via the links below:

Friday 5 September
Clehonger Village Hall, tea and biscuits at 6 pm, start 6.30 pm

Saturday 6 September
Saxon Hall, Hereford, tea and biscuits at 10 am, start 10.30 am

Lots of people have already kindly indicated their support.  It's easy, lots of fun, and a great way to meet people and make your views heard.

With all best wishes,

Jesse Norman

PS:  if you can't come to either of these dates but would like to know more or stay in touch, please email me via support@jesse4hereford.com.
